Chapter 1
- And the story goes on… (March-Friday (After School))
The past few months has been a struggle, but with a great boyfriend by my side it was easy to handle.
My dad still has Cirrhosis, and all that other crap that I bother not to mention it. We still haven’t visited him yet due to school, and the money. But we plan on seeing him really soon.
School hasn’t been easy for me. I failed lotta tests, and quizzes. I had to go to extra help which went into my time to go to gymnastics/cheerleading practices. My mom hasn’t been home all these months, and been in New Jeresy with my dad for as long as since October. We did miss her too, and ushered her to come home for atleast a week but she was determined to spend almost her whole waking moment with him, and I can tell she truly loves our father.
Anyways the story goes on, and it seems like my life only gets worse.
Tha name is Kassidy Davis.
In addition, HELLLLL…. Yeah, this is my life.

It was a Friday
(3:00pm) on a March month. Spring was bound to be here within a week or so. I was home doin’ some laundry. Unfourtnetly I was the only damn one without any plans this weekend. Raven was working extra time to save money to drive us to New Jeresy to see my dad, Andrew be workin’, Aniyah is at basketball practices, Jazmine is over a friends house, and Robert & Jordan is staying with our Aunt & Uncle at the other side of Bronx for the weekend. Deahvian told me she was gunna come over, but she had a baby shower to attend for her Aunt new baby. Cameron was busy playin’ basketball at the park with his friends, and Keyshia had to get her hair done. I was so fuckin’ bored. I quickly put the wet clothes in the dryer and left the basement. I went upstairs and plopped on the couch bored. I was so bored I decided to flip through my iPhone to check who to call. Everybody I went thru was busy, except for Marcus. I sighed to myself, he was the only one to call for now so I pressed his name and the phone started ringing.
“Ay yo.” He replied.
“Ayyy Marcus. Wad up?”
“Kassidy? Hey, you don’t normally call me.”
“So? I cant call you anymore?”
“Yeah… So what’s up? What u be doin’ today?”
“Nuthin!! I’m so bored. Everybody is damn busy and I’m in the house alone.”
“Want me to stop over?”
I thought about havin’ Marcus over. He was a pain in the butt, always flirtin’ with me when he damn knows I got a boyfriend. But I was desperate and decided to let him come over. “Fine, BUT DON’T DO NOTHING STUPID MARCUS.”
He laughed. “Nah, chill. Imma be over in 5 minutes.”
“iight.” I disconnected the call, and got myself ready to chill with Marcus. I went to my closet to see whats good to wear. Marcus was no Cameron Williams. He didn’t have biceps that showed, a six pack that’s almost hard as steel, didn’t have over 10 trophies in basketball competitions, didn’t have a sexy voice or chuckle, and definetly not fine lookin either like Cameron. Although he was a boy, I decided to try to look my best. I grabbed a red blouse, some white jeans, and brushed my hair down. I did a double gussy up in the mirror applying lipgloss then I soon heard the doorbell ring. I ran to open it and realized to myself that It wasn’t Cameron, and just was Marcus. I slowly walked to the door and opened it.
