it was the 3rd of December and daniel walked into school hand in hand with his lover. as they always did.
per usual they went over to their friends and began to talk. daniel noticed that corbyn was a bit distracted so he lightly squeezed his hand, "you okay?"
"yeah i'm okay." corbyn murmured before kissing daniels head and letting go of his hand, "i uh have to get to class. see you at lunch daniel."
odd. daniel thought, he never called him by his real name. when he turned around to see if he was already gone. daniel felt corbyns hoodie lose his warmth. along with his scent.
there he was, talking to the new girl. her silky chocolate brown hair being tucked behind her ear by corbyn. HIS corbyn.
"daniel? hello? earth to daniel!" jack snapped his fingers in front of his gaze, causing daniels cheeks to turn a light shade of red.
"who is she?" he mumbled, wrapping his own arm's around his waist due to being cold and looking into jacks eyes.
"oh that's the new girl. i think her names lera, i'm not sure tho." he shrugged, grabbing daniels hand and dragging him to science class when the bell rang.
just to his luck he had that class with both corbyn and the new girl. the teacher assigned a project but daniel was thankful that they were allowed to pick their own partners.
daniel walked over to where corbyn was sitting and smiled, "hey c! wanna be my partner?"
corbyn looked up at the small boy and bit his lip, shaking his head, "sorry daniel i already have a partner."
daniel felt his heart shatter into a million pieces, letting out a small ' okay.' before walking back to his desk.
"how'd it g-" jack questioned but quickly stopped talking once he saw the tears in daniels eyes, giving him a small side hug, "we can be partners!"
"okay." he nodded and sat down with him, giving him a smile before playfully sitting in his lap, letting out a laugh.
an hour or so later the bell rang, which meant it was time for lunch. they all sat down at their regular table which included tessa, jonah, zach, jack, corbyn and daniel. but corbyn was later than usual.
"hey guys sorry i was late. um this is lera." he smiled as he presented the girl. he sat down next to daniel with her and smiled.
jack gave lera a glare as daniel stood up from his seat, he went over to where jack was sitting and sat down next to him.
both daniel and jack noticed how much lera made corbyn smile but both chose to not say anything. so daniel wouldn't end up hurting more.
daniel Felt himself tear up once he saw corbyns arm around leras waist, he stood up and ran to the bathroom.
"what's up with him" asked corbyn as he looked at the people in Front of him and cocked up a brow.
jack looked at his hand and rolled his eyes, jonah decided to stand up and walk to the bathroom where daniel was.
after a while corbyn was starting to get worried, since they haven't came back yet. "i'm going to go check on them. more specifically daniel."
corbyn made his way out of the cafeteria and into the hallway. he then made his way into the bathroom and felt a wave of jealousy hit him as he saw the scenery.
