ANGELA AND TECHNO POV

It has been a few days now, things in the castle had settled down enough to allow the king to walk in the halls without getting stopped every twenty steps by someone asking him his reasoning for deciding to date a magical creature.

Angela's injury had healed completely and she wanted to go back to the garden, but Techno wasn't sure if it was safe for her to be outside with just Sam watching over anymore. He wanted to give her more guards but she refused, saying that it will only draw more unwanted attention, so she proposed another solution.

"You what?!" he asked surprised "I want to learn how to fight, teach me!" she said excitedly while they were in the king's private library "This way i can defend myself when i'm alone" 

"That's an-uhm.... interesting solution but... women don't usually fight Angela, not even in the Elythrian community" Phil pointed out.

"Then just teach me how to use my magic better so i can make a shield or something to defend myself with, i don't want to be an easy target anymore" Techno and Phil exchanged an unsure look.

"We'll need to do that in the forest, so no one will see us" he said to the king, who sighed "Alright then, tomorrow we'll go in the forest, i'll teach you how to fight with a sword and Philza will teach you how to control your magic"

The next day they all left for the forest, Sam came as well, he wanted to bring Angela on the horse with him, since he's her personal guard, but the king was hearing none of it, so in the end Sam rode with Phil and Angela with Techno.

They soon arrived and dismounted, tying the rains to a nearby tree.

"Ok we'll start with the magic, since it's easier and less tiring to use" Phil said "You remember what i taught you last time right?" she nodded.

"Try to do the same then, call your magic in your palms and give it the shape of a dagger or something like that" she closed her eyes, focusing on calling forth her magic and then condensing it, imagining a dagger in her mind.

She soon managed to create something that vaguely resembled a knife, although it's edge wasn't sharp at all and it looked more like a butter knife, but it was still a knife nonetheless.

"I did it... kinda" she giggled, handing the object to Philza to inspect, he looked at it with interest, smiling.

"That's very impressive for your first try Angela, you probably already tried before, you just don't remember it" he crushed the knife, causing it to break into a thousand pieces "But it's still too weak, you need to pour more energy into it, try again"

She tried a few more times, finally managing to make a knife with a sharp edge and strong enough to withstand a few blows against an iron sword.

"Alright, now try to make a shield" she focused hard, soon creating a force field around her, which pushed Phil back by a few meters.

"Whoa! That's sick!" he shouted excitedly, walking around it "It seems like your magic it's stronger when it defends rather than when it attacks, that's good, it means you can protect yourself better" he complimented, throwing a few punches at the field, founding it sturdy and strong, just what she needed.

"Ok, now lower it" Phil ordered, Angela tried to make it stop but couldn't and therefore started to panic a bit "U-uhm... i can't... make it stop... what do i do Phil?" she asked in a bit of a shaky voice.

"Calm down, don't panic, we'll get you out in a minute, Techno" he called and the king walked towards the force field, taking out his netherite sword and sinking it right through, breaking the spell and making Angela sigh in relief.

"Thank you your majesty" she breathed out, he smiled, rolling his eyes at the way she kept calling him. It was just the four of them, she could call him by his name, but if she didn't feel comfortable doing it around other people yet, then he wouldn't push her.

"It's my turn now, if i had to teach you how to fight it would take days, so i'll just show you how to stall a battle until reinforcements arrive" he gave a nod at Phil, who went to grab two wooden swords, giving one to Angela and throwing the other at the king, who in the meantime put away his netherite one.

"Let's start from the basis, you hold your sword with two hands, like this" he went to stand beside her, showing the way she should hold the sword. Angela quickly copied, trying to do what Techno was doing.

"Good, then you swing from top to bottom so to force your opponent to back away" he swinged his sword diagonally, Angela tried to do the same but put too much force in her blow and fell forward into the grass.

"This is harder than it looks" she commented, standing back up and trying again, managing to master the move after a few more tries. Techno taught her more moves until he deemed her ready for a simulated battle, in which he played as the bad guy.

"I'll attack you, you'll have to stall for three minutes or longer ok?" she nodded, tying her hair and clenching the handle of her wooden sword hard. Techno ran towards her, aiming at her right arm, she saw it coming and dodged to the side, delivering a mild swing at his side, it wasn't too weak, if she had used an iron sword it would have probably caused a light wound, which still wasn't enough to incapacitate the aggressor but it was better than nothing.

"Not bad" he complimented, grinning and making Angela. He wasted no time and went back to attack her, the two kept sparring for several minutes, she was clearly struggling but was putting on a good fight nonetheless. 

That is, until he decided to swoop at her legs, causing her to fall to the ground, he thought it was over but Angela wasn't a gal that gives up easily. She rolled to the side, quickly standing up and running towards the nearest tree, her move confusing Techno, who went to chase her, just like she wanted him to.

She run up on the trunk of the tree, giving herself a boost and doing a back-flip, landing just behind him and pointing her sword at his neck when he turned.

"I... win" she panted out, a content smile present on her face. Techno was nothing shy than impressed, he didn't expect her to actually outsmart him like that. He smiled, dropping his sword and raising his arms in surrender.

"Alright, you won" he repeated, smiling as well "Well done" Sam and Philza walked up to them.

"How did you do that?! It was amazing!" Sam shouted excitedly, making her chuckle "I don't know, i just had the idea and wanted to see if it would actually work" she looked down at her hands "I didn't knew i could do that" Phil patted her shoulder.

"Knowing or not, you put up a pretty good fight, not everyone can say to have defeated the infamous Blood God" he teased, looking at Techno, who just rolled his eyes, picking up his sword.

"Does this makes me a Blood Goddess now?" she asked jokingly, causing them to laugh, Techno snickered as well, even though he tried to hide it. They were all too busy having fun to notice that Sapnap had been spying them for the past hour, and he didn't like what he was seeing.

"She's starting to remember, i have to warn the boss before this thing gets out of hand. We might end up needing... that" he grinned "Not that i would mind using it"
