After letting out my feelings to Matt I felt pretty good afterwards. We had say at a bench and talked about really random things like why penguins couldn't fly and about what would happen if dinosaurs still existed. After our long talk Matt decided to walk me home since he also didn't have a licence.
When I got home I took my medication, changed into some sweatpants and a tank top laid in my bed and checked my messages. You would have thought that because I ran off during our get together at Cameron's house someone would have texted or called me to see where I was but no one did, except for Matt who ran after me. I decided to see if he was still awake after all that movie was preventing me from going to sleep.
(M- Matt. R- Rebecca )
R- hey Matt you awake
M- yep what's up
R- umm... can't sleep 😣
M- is it because of the movie?
R- yea I told you I don't like scary movies they give me nightmares 😰
M- there just movies tho
R- I know but there still scary
M- ok sooo umm what do you want me to do
R- can you keep me company
M- and how am I suppose to do that when I'm not there beside you 😕
R- ummm Im not sure
M- you want me to come over
R- no your already home
M- I don't mind I like hanging out with you ill be there In like 15 mins
R- umm ok
M- ok do you want me to bring you anything
R- do you have Froot loops, I ran out
M- of course ill bring them see you there
R- k
I was actually happy Matt was coming over since there was nothing to do, but after processing what was happening I remembered I had parents. I started thinking of how Matt could get in without my parents finding out so i went downstairs and grabbed a rope from the garage and threw it over my balcony and I sent Matt a message letting him know to come to the back quietly. After like 10 mins I see Matt come to the back and I smile since it was starting to get cold outside I put my finger on my mouth telling him to be quiet. I see the box of Froot loops under his arm and smile seeing he actually brought me cereal. I point towards the rope indicating him to climb. He put the box of cereal to his waist using his belt and starts climbing. He looks like a monkey climbing a tree and I laugh at my silliness. He gets to the top and smiles at me. ( words in " " Is Matt and word in between ' 'is Rebecca)
"your parents don't know I'm here?"
'No' I say looking at the ground. He lifts my chin up with his middle and index finger making me look at him. He smiles and looks over at my room.
" I like your room it's nice and very girly"
'Thanks and yea it is that's because I decorated it like that before I was diagnosed sooo... yea'
"Cool, so what do you want to do.. oh I brought your cereal" he says handing me the box.
'Thanks and I don't know. we can lay down eat cereal and watch TV' I suggest.
"Sounds good to me" we lay down on my bed with a good amount of space between us eating my favourite cereal while watching Red Band Society. This Is my favourite show its sad romantic funny and realistic all at once. After a while I start getting sleepy and fall asleep but then I realise I'm being chased by a man with a chain saw and I begin to sweat I star shacking as I start running real fast.
' Ahh'
"Hey are you ok, what's wrong do you need something?"
' I'm fine it was just a bad dream, I told you I have nightmares'
" Oh... come here" Matt says while moving the box of cereal and the remote to the table beside the bed. He pulls me close to him and I lay my head on his shoulder and my hand on his chest. He wraps his arm around my shoulders making me feel protected.
" It's ok ill fight your nightmares and make sure you get your beauty sleep"he says with a smirk in his face. I smile looking up at him and he stats leaning his head down, his eyes seem to glow in the dark around us. I start stretching my head towards him and our lips meet. The kiss isn't a harsh or desperate Kiss its a loving caring kiss. We separate and we both have smiles on our faces I rest my head back on his shoulder and the last thing I hear is... sweet dreams my love.
