Samantha's P.O.V
I sat in my usual spot at the bar in the guild,"Mira can I have the usual?" I asked while I was reading.
"Sure one mango smoothie coming up!" She announced while I continued reading. Hmm I wonder if I should go to that new bookstore across the street, maybe I can find Beyond The Demons. This book isn't really as good as I thought then again hype does ruin a lot of books, I thought while looking at the cover of Dragon Freedom .
"WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE!" A rather loud voice rang out as my smoothie was served in front of me, so much for reading peacefully.
"Here we go." I muttered sourly as Mira giggled at my comment while the guild erupted in 'Heys' and 'Hi's'. I wonder what the fool got into this time or should I say destroyed this time.
"Oh come on they're not that bad-" A crash coming from behind me inturrupted her sentence. My ears perked up when i heard an unfamiliar, female voice.
"Why did you do that?!?" The female shouted.
"YOU LIED ABOUT SALAMANDER, I'M GONNA KICK YOUR BUTT" Natsu yelled.
"HEY, DON'T GET MAD AT ME I'M NOT THE ONE TO BLAME HERE, IT WAS JUST A RUMOR I HEARD!" A guild member yelled back in pain. Just ignore them and focus on the book-
"JUST A RUMOR?!"-ignore and focus on the beauty of written words-CRAAAASSSSHH-and imagination.
"Now, now Natsu I think you need to calm down-AHHHH" Happy screamed, flying towards me and I catch him in one hand, bringing him up in my arm to cradle him. "Thanks Sammy." Happy says before passing out. I could hear an all out brawl starting behind me. I sigh and get up from the stool and walking to a table in one of the corners of the guild, book and Happy in my arms.
"So Natsu finally made it back, huh?" Gray says as I walk past him Mira following with my smoothie in hand.
"Oh look Sam,a new girl." Mira said excitedly.
"Hmm." I reply glancing at the female blonde, that is wearing fairly revealing clothing, finally arriving at the table I sit and Mira sets my glass down and suddenly appears near the blonde by the door. Huh, I assumed she was smart enough to know not to go over there with this mess, I thought staring at the punches and kicks being thrown. I watch as her and Blondie exchange words then Elfman fly's towards Mira crushing her into the wall in the process. I put my book down and stare at them, which was enough time for Elfman to get up and get launched at us. Happy apparently woke up during all of this and screamed as he saw the mass of white hair coming. Either Happy or the book, staring longingly at the book that was shoved across the table from a guild member smashing into it, I sigh, along with my smoothie too, and jump high into the air. Happy starts hugging me tightly while tears stream down his face. "Shhh it's alright, you're okay." I cooed to him while he stared at me with teary eyes, his ears back in fright. "I'll protect you Happy no matter what, I promise." I told him, still stroking his head, what can I say? I have a weak spot for animals.
I cradle Happy while walking up to my destroyed book, poor thing.
"Will you fools stop whimpering like children!" Master roared.
"I'm sorry I didn't know you were still here Master." Mira said sweetly while he grunted in response.
"Whoa! Hold on did you just say Master?!," The Blondie screeched, but still got ignored.
"Magic isn't some kind of miraculous power, it only works if the flow of energy inside us and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus, it should take over your being and come pouring out of your soul. If all we're going to worry about is following rules, then magic will never progress. Don't let those blow head's on the council scare you, follow the path you believe in! Cause that's what makes the Fairy Tail guild number one!"
I smirked, Master sure does have a way with words, I thought as I lifted my hand, all my fingers folding except my pointer and thumb while everyone does the same, the guild erupting with cheers.
I watched while the newbie got her stamp by the bar.
"Welcome to the family." I muttered as I passed her, glancing back at her to see that she is looking at me in awe and happiness. Another fan girl, I suppose. She went up to Natsu to show off her guild mark. I sat down on a stool in front of Mira, while she handed me another smoothie smiling.
"What?" I snapped trying to sip my drink in peace.
"Oh its nothing," she responded "I just noticed how much more open you've got, even though its just a little-"
"How come my dad hasn't come back yet?" Romeo asked Master
"Your starting to work my nerves Romeo, your a wizard's son, have some faith in your father and wait patiently for him!" Master replied more annoyed than ever. Hmm, maybe I should go out to look for Macao, I mean he has been gone for awhile.
"Why wont somebody go looking for him?!" Romeo fumed.
"Listen kid, your really starting to make me mad. Your fathers a wizard and like every other wizard in this guild he can take care of himself. Now go home and have some milk and cookies and wait." Right then Romeo punched Master.
"I hate you all!" Romeo screamed running out the guild doors. Better go do something about this.

......hi? I know it has been awhile, but at least I'm back now! I'm sorry I haven't been writing, schools a butt, BUT now that summer is here I got all the time I need to start this up again. Sorry if this chapter is short, I realized some of my mistakes here and am trying to edit while writing. I appreciate all those who have actually started to follow this story and put up with my absence for so long, I promise I will try to update every two or three days from now on, so I will put up a new chapter this Friday or Saturday.
