The Battle of the Tundra

I was woken up by the sound of a retreat yowl, for a moment I wonder where I am then I remember. I look up to see the foxes retreating along with that mysterious fox, Amber the leader called her. Her brown fur is in my head and I can't get it out. I go to Emerald to ask what happened. I slip into her burrow and there is blood flowing from her leg. It is already spreading across the floor I drag her out and take her to the gatherers. they have herbs they cover her leg with leaves that stop the bleeding. I can't help but wonder about Amber "Take care of her I'll be back I have to find something." I say. as I walk away I hear Angel say "Okay, Redfur." I try to sniff out Amber it's very easy, I find her lying behind a rock quite a bit away from camp I smell her pack but it was from a while ago. Why would they leave her here? I drag her back to camp and have Angel put some of the leaves on Amber. I walk off to check on Emerald. I slide into her burrow, she is asleep so I go to climb out. "Redfur?" Emerald calls I turn around "Yes, Am-Emerald?" I say almost mentioning Amber "What is it?" She asks "I just wanted to know what happened in the battle?" She nods as if trying to remember "Well I took down the Fox that pinned you, they dragged her away from camp and she... she didn't make it then we beat the rest but I got a bad cut and here I am." She says as she lays her head down and falls deep asleep. Now's my chance I thought, so I ran towards the gatherers "Hello? I say to Amber. She looks up to my face then spits, I back away to wipe my face and she knocks me down and pins me down. "Why did you bring me here?" She asks "Get off me and I'll tell you!" I say and she gets off. I sit up and say "Your pack thought you were dead so they left you behind a rock." I say hoping she'll believe me, she pins me again this time she sinks her teeth into my neck. I claw her stomach she yelps and backs off. "Don't lie to me!" Amber screamed What does she mean?
