Izuku finished the last beat of the drum and closed his eyes tightly, nodding a little--satisfied with a new song he created.
He was snapped back to his thoughts when he heard a loud bang from his door. He looked at the front and saw his stepmother's unamused face with his half-sister crossing her arms over to her chest.
"No wonder the house is suddenly loud. You're back." His stepmother said looking at Izuku with an eyebrow raised to the highest point.
Izuku walked towards his mini fridge and opened an energy drink. Euri probably change these cans for the past 2 years.
Izuku's room is like a small apartment, he got the mini kitchen he could cook at, a bathroom and a mini fridge. He requested it to his father when he was 10.
Izuku was so used to be by himself all alone, considering the fact that his parents were workaholic as fuck.
The stepmother also known as 'Kaede' raised a bitter smile at Izuku. "You really have no respect, huh?" Kaide said placing a hand to her hip.
Izuku licked the side of his lip. "Can't you guys read?" Izuku said emotionlessly.
Kaede and his stepsister named 'Toga' looked at him confused. "What are you talking about?" Toga asked.
Izuku pointed at the small wooded plate with the words 'ANIMALS AREN'T ALLOWED HERE.' Carved on the plattered wood.
"That. Can't you read that?" Izuku asked with no emotion leaking out.
Kaede raised an eyebrow. "I can." She responded. Izuku took another sip from his can and tilted his head.
"Then why are you guys here?" He told them. Kaede and Toga's eyes widened when they realized what Izuku meant. Kaede felt her blood boil rapidly.
"YOU---!!-- YOU DESPICABLE CHILD! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING IN LOS ANGELES! DON'T TELL ME YOU GOT DROPPED OUT AGAIN! YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOU'RE JUST WASTING YOUR FATHER'S MONEY!" Kaede ranted pointing a finger towards Izuku, her body started shaking by the amount of emotion she's feeling.
Kaede flinched when Izuku forcely slammed the canned drink on his table and stared at Kaede with no emotion. His eyes were blank and dull, it doesn't show any anger but his presence could already wrap the whole house with a dark and black aura.
"First of all. This is MY house, i come in and go whenever i want. Second, i spend my OWN money. Unlike you who only knows how to be a pig that needs to be fed for almost 4 times a day." Izuku said. His voice was rather deep and dangerous. It's true that he never accept money from his father, 3 years ago, he started living independently. He cook his own food, by with his own money and live on his own without anyone by his side.
"You still have no respect for me. I'll make sure that this'll be heard by your father, let's see if he doesn't send you back in london." Kaede said smirking as if she has won.
"Kaede? Toga? Who're you guys talking to--" the man didn't even finsihed talking after his eyes met with the green emerald ones.
"Hey, dad." Izuku stated.
"Izuku? What are you doing here?"
"Is it thay bad to be here? It's my house afterall."
"Honey! Good thing you came! Izuku started saying mean thigs to me again. He doesn't even respect me!" Kaede butted in clingin her hands at Izuku's dad's arm.
"What are you doing here, Izuku?" The man repeated his question making Izuku roll his eyes.
"I'm telling you. This is my house, i do whatever i want with it. Wether i come in or go. It's not your job to say anything. Can we please just continue this pointless talk? I still have a lot of things to unpack. I also need to be early for school tomorrow." Izuku ranted yawning dramatically.
"What do you mean attending school?" Toga asked, she's actually afraid to what Izuku would reply. She doesn't want to see Izuku.
"I'm staying here for good." Izuku said with a small smirk plastered on his face.
The three person's face paled white after hearing those words. "Please save your complaints for tomorrow. I need to rest." Just as Izuku was about to close the door. He heard his father's voice.
"Izuku Midoriya. I'm not done talking yet. I want you to go back to Los Angeles, i already paid for your school tuition for a year. You can't just leave and come back here." Izuku's father ranted. Izuku can already see the satisfied smirk from his step mother and sister.
"But i already did, right?" Izuku responded unamused. Izuku looked at his father's angry gaze. Back then he would probably tremble and just obey his father. But then... That's all in the past. That was way way back.
"Don't let my patience trip infront of you, Izuku. Just be a good boy and listen to me."
Izuku rolled his eyes. "I made up my mind and my decision is final. If you're worried about the money you spent, don't be. That was my mother's money that you used just now right? So don't act as if you spend yours." Izuku said, emphasizing his words.
Izuku's father was beyond speechless. His son doesn't have any signs of anger but something tells him that Izuku knows what he's talking about.
"See? That demon-like child of yours is only growing horns a lot more ofte--" Kaede was cut off when Izuku talked once again.
"And one more thing." Izuku looked at Kaide and Toga. "This is MY house. I can kick whoever i want. My mom named this house by my name-- i can even kick you out."
"Are you saying that you'll kick us out?! Hizashi!" Kaide protested.
"Don't worry. As much as i hate your guts, you're still dad's mistres-- i mean... Wife." Izuku said out of annoyance.
Kaede was about to respond when Izuku's father beat her to it. "Enough. Izuku's old enough. He's mature now. I'm pretty sure he learned new things in London. Izuku, you may stay." He said rubbing his temple.
Kaede was about to protest but then Izuku let out a cold scoff. "Of course. I learned a looot~ of things while i stayed in L.A." izuku said smirking mischievously at his father.
Hizashi squinted his eyes thinking that it had another meaning. He was about to ask but then Izuku held his temple dramatically.
"If you don't have anything to say, please leave. I'm currently having a headache. Let's all talk tomorrow." Izuku said as he pushed Kaede and Toga out, slamming the door on their faces afterwards.
"That rude--"
"Stop it, Kaede."
Izuku Midoriya. 16 years old. He was sent to L.A. 2 and a half years ago for education.
Izuku felt tears gushing down his face. He's tired of everything.. He's tired of fighting alone. He needs someone by his side..again..
