6: Scary Stories and Secret Sisters

The group hunker down in one of the more stable houses, start a fire in a hole in the floor, and cook dinner with whatever food they had left in their supplies. They all sat around the fire, the couples sitting next to each other, eating their meal. 

"Okay, this silence is killing me, let's talk or tell stories, or something. Just anything to fill this silence!" Ruby said.

"Alright, kiddo, what do you wanna talk about?" Qrow chuckled.

"Hmm...how about you tell us when the whole you-and-clover thing started. Ya know, before you became official." Yang suggested with a grin.

 Both men blush and avoid eye contact with the teens. 

"You guys don't want to hear about any of that." Clover said bashfully.

"Yes we do!" Ruby and Yang shouted excitedly.

"Yeah! Give us the details, all the details! Well...except for the, ya know...the bad stuff." Nora agreed.

"Okay, fine, but only to get you off our backs." Qrow groaned, not being able to hold back a smile.

"I think I started to have feelings during that first mission with the Ace Ops. I know it sounds cheesy, but...the moment he first winked at me....I felt butterflies." Qrow said smiling and blushing.

"Awwwwww!" all the girls cooed.

"Awww." Jaune said.

"What about you, Clover? When did you start having feelings?" Weiss asked.

"Hmm...I'm pretty sure it was when I first heard him laugh. It was so cute. I also found the way he was with you kids very endearing." Clover told the kids.

"You guys are adorable." Blake said, leaning her head on Yang's shoulder.

"So...did you ever hook up in Atlas?" Nora asked giggling.

"Nora!" Ren scolded.

"Look, I'm not telling my kids about my sex life." Qrow told them.

"Aw, Ren, did you hear that, he called us his kids!" Nora said hugging Ren's arm.

"We truly are a big happy family." she beamed.

"Speaking of family...is it okay with you that I call you 'uncle'?" Ruby asked Clover.

"I don't mind at all. It's actually very nice of you all to have accepted me into this crazy family so quickly." Clover replied.

Smiling, Ruby scoots over to Clover and hugs him. Now that they were done with dinner, everyone takes out their sleeping bags and get settled around the fire. Although, no one was quite tired yet.

"I know this scary story my aunt told me about." Oscar said.

"Oooh, tell us the story." Yang said, resting her chin on her hands.

"Ummm, are you sure it's a good idea to tell scary stories right before going to bed?" Jaune asked nervously.

"Tell us the story, farm-boy." Nora told Oscar.

"Okay, okay...so there was this guy and he's like...crazy, and he insists that he's not, but the dude's totally nuts. And for some reason he's really freaked out by this old man's one pale blue eye..." Oscar began.

"Oh, I know this story! I read it once in a book!" Blake said, interrupting.

"Blake, I'm telling the story!" Oscar whined.

"Sorry, continue." Blake apologized.

"Anyway, this guy is so freaked out by the old man's eye he's convinced it's an evil eye. So, every night he sneaks into the old man's apartment and watches him sleep..." Oscar continued.
