I woke up the next morning and there was a tapping.
It was all a dream, the best dream though. There had been a giant man named Hagrid and he came and told me and Harry that we were magic and that we would be going to Hogwarts. But that was a dream.
The tapping continued, it was probably Aunt Petunia knocking on the door for us to get up.
I opened my eyes.
It wasn't a dream! There was Hagrid laying on the sofa and the tapping wasn't Aunt Petunia it was an owl? I shook Harry awake.
"What?" He said annoyed I'd woke him up.
"Get up grumpy, we have to go with Hagrid. Look out the window." I said
"Wow is that a owl?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Really?"
"What's it doing here?" He asked
"Why am I supposed to know?" I replied
"Wow, your in a sarcastic mood."
"Shush" I laughed.
"Should we wake Hagrid?"
"No need, I'm awake." Hagrid said still sleepily. "In the pocket of the jacket get out 3 out of the bronze coins and give them to the bird."
I stood up and grabbed the jacket. In the pocket there were many coins, sliver, bronze, and gold. I grabbed 3 of the bronze coloured ones and walked over to the window. I slowly opened it and grabbed the paper that the owl was holding. I put the bronze coins in the pocket that was attached to it. The owl flew off and I brought the paper and handed it to Hagrid.
"Hagrid," I say, "what are those coins?"
"The gold ones are a Galleon, Silver ones are a sickle and the little bronze ones are a Knut. 17 Sickles in a Galleon, and 29 Knuts in a Sickle, and 493 Knuts in a Galleon." He said.
I nodded admiring the coins.
"You two got yer school lists?" Hagrid said.
"Yes." Me and Harry both said.
"Good were goin' to London today and gettin' yer stuff." He said
"Hagrid?" Harry asks, "where are we going to get all this stuff?"
"Yeah, I've never seen a shop that sells spell books before." I said sarcastically.
"Yer just gonna have to wait and see!" He said and that was the end of the conversation
"Climb in the boat." Hagrid said once we where ready and outside of the hut.
"How are the Dursleys going to get back?" I asked
"Well, the boat will come back by itself, but it will look like the wind is pushing it so the muggles don't see." He explained.
