The sound of soft waves and seagulls filled the warm summer air as Y/n sat with her toes in the sand in a state of total relaxation. Notebook in hand she would look, her h/c hair tickling her face as the soft breeze guided it. The comforting smell of brine, salt, seaweed, and marine life filling her nose as she inhales deeply taking in the beauty of the seaside. The sky, a mix of eternal reds and oranges dancing around, as if they were performing just for her. Time stopped for Y/n as she soaked in the apocalyptic sight of the end of yet another day.
Of course, Y/n was not alone on the shore like she thought she was as she saw a blonde boy sitting a few feet away from her, staring into the sunset intently. At that moment Y/n found something more beautiful than a thousand sunsets. His eyes imitated the ocean's beauty perfectly, his pale skin glowing in the dim sunlight. The golden mop upon his head was dancing in the rhythm of the summer's gentle blows, falling over his eyes revealing an undercut. Then suddenly... eye contact.
The pair were now looking at one another, Y/n's cheeks glowing a light crimson red as she melted under his stare. A small smirk crept onto the boy's face as he noticed the change in complexion, darkening her cheeks as he began to do the same. Y/n's heart smiled as she noticed the small blush sitting on his cheeks. The two looked away, a smile upon each of their faces as they shared the view of the sunset. Y/n was inspired, so she wrote inside her notebook.
𝒯𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒷𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝓎 𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓊𝓃𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝓇𝓊𝓁𝓎 𝒶𝓃 𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁𝒾𝒸 𝓈𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉.
𝒴𝑒𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐼 𝒶𝓂 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒, 𝐼 𝑔𝓊𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉'𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓊𝓈, 𝓂𝓎 𝒹𝑒𝒶𝓇...
Y/n took her pen off of the paper to glance at the boy once more, but space he once filled was empty and there was no more of the blonde boy. She looked around her with furrowed eyebrows, searching for him. A frown formed on her lips, the thought 'I'll never see him again.' repeating itself over and over in her mind. The thought that she will never see such beauty again allowed her to frown deeper as she stared into the rippling water that reflected the sunset.
The sky had darkened to a navy blue and the air was cold. Y/n was asleep, sand decorating her tangled hair and the rest of her body like sugar on a doughnut. The image of the blonde still vivid in her mind as it replayed in her head, taunting her. A smile, she was smiling at the thought of laying eyes on him again. Of course, that was unlikely. Right?
A cold breeze caused Y/n's eyes to flutter open seeing how dark it had got. After a minute or two admiring the few stars that had appeared, she stood up and brushed as much sand off of her body as she possibly could. Shoving her notebook into her plain black backpack and putting her arms in the straps she began her walk back to her apartment she shared with her best friend; Sasha.
The streets of Trost were quiet which was helpful because Y/n's head was pounding. Unlike other girls, Y/n has never been afraid to walk alone in the dark. A night surrounded by silence, much like this one was one of her favorites. Walking in the dark silence gives her time to think and that is when she feels happiest, any other time she is emotionless. So she walks alone in the dark like it's nothing with a blonde stranger living in her mind rent-free.
