"Plant, Dad, and I aren't together like that," I said, blushing a little.
"Melly, ok?" asked Plant.
"Yeah, why?" I asked, confused.
"Lizzy red," said Plant.
"Ohh~," said Lukas, Blake, and Kit.
"Lukas, Blake, Kit, shut up," said David.
"But she deserves it for doing it to us as well," said Kit, smiling at Melody.
"Still, it doesn't matter. She's getting flustered" said David, moving closer to me.
*I kept my head down until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw David having his hand on my shoulder*
"Oh, hey David," I said while moving away from David a little.
"Why are you moving away?? Did I do something wrong?" asked David, confused.
"You didn't do anything, David. She's simply nervous" said Lukas, looking at me funny.
"What?" I asked Lukas.
"Nothing. Nothing" said Lukas, turning to Plant.
("Melody!!" 'Emberly' screamed.)
("What?!" I said back.)
("Let us out. We're bored," said 'Emma.')
("Why should I again?" I asked.)
("Because we're bored," said 'Emberly.')
("Still no excuse to do so," I said to them.)
"Melody, did you listen to our plan?" asked Lukas.
"Huh?" I said, confused.
"You didn't listen, did you?" said Lukas, looking at me.
"Sorry, I got distracted," I said, looking down.
"Well, our plan is to get Kit and Marshy a date and this time, they will go on the date," said David.
"Oh, so when is it going to be?" I asked.
"Probably the day after tomorrow," said Kit.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Get your girl!" said Blake.
"Well, I'll see you guys later," said Kit, leaving.
"Bye Kit," said everyone.
"So, when are you two going on a date?" asked Blake, looking at me and David.
"Huh?!" said David, sounding a little flustered.
"We aren't going on a date, Blake," I said.
"Date?" asked Plant.
"Umm. I'm not explaining this one," said Lukas.
"Me neither," said David.
"I'll explain it then," said Blake.
"A date is when you go with a certain other. Like me and 'Papa.' We have gone on a few dates" said Blake, looking at Lukas, smiling.
"But you can only go with this person if you love them," I said.
"Love?" asked Plant.
"Love is when you care about them, always have them on your thoughts, you protect them, and you always want them by your side. But also, love is a big word to say to someone that isn't your parents. You can say 'I love you' to Papa, Dad, and Mommy" I said, crouching to their level.
"And Mama?" asked Plant.
"And Mama," I said, smiling.
*Plant smiled back*
"Family!" said, Plant.
"Ok, where did they learn that one??" asked Lukas.
"Plant, who taught you that word?" I said, smiling.
"Mama did!" said Plant, happy and smiling.
"And there you have it," I said while standing back up.
