"Keiji! I already told you, papa and I are busy with work. Go play in your room, please." Akaashi was scolded by his mom after bothering her. All he wanted was to be with his parents and have fun just like the kids on the TV. His parents were workaholics though..he didn't like being around other people since he had anxiety. It's difficult for him to talk to a stranger.

Akaashi nodded and walked to his room with a pout on his face. Tears were forming in his eyes but he held them back and faked a small smile. He closed his door and sat down on the bed with his toy cars. He wasn't interested in toy cars, but it kept him busy.

---------- next day ----------

"Keiji! Ms.Bokuto came to babysit you!" Akaashi's eyes sparkled and he ran downstairs. Ms.Bokuto, his babysitter, was someone very special to little Akaashi. She was always looking after him. He hugged her tightly with a big smile. He turned around as his mom tapped on his shoulder. "Keiji, I and papa are leaving to work, okay? Ms.Bokuto will look after you while we're gone." His mom walked out waving at both of them.
"Akaashi, I brought my son so he can play with you!" Akaashi's eyes widened as he saw a small boy with bi-colored hair stand beside the tall lady. Bokuto smiled widely and stood in front of Akaashi, observing every detail in his face. "You're beautiful! I'm Bokuto Koutarou." Akaashi smiled and grabbed the boys hand without saying anything, he pulled the boy to his room. " T-this is... My room..." Akaashi started feeling nervous and he fidgeted his fingers. "Woahh... Your room is awesome! Do you have any toys?" Akaashi looked at him and nodded quickly as he pulled out his toy cars. Bokuto smiled and picked a white toy motorcycle. Akaashi's lips formed a slight smile as he started playing with Bokuto. "My name..is Akaashi Keiji"

This was his first time he played with a boy his age. He never had any friends around because he was alone. In pre-k nobody wanted to be friends with him because of his "cooties". He felt happy with this new boy called Bokuto. In just a few minutes he felt all "GWAHH" when he was with Bokuto.

"Hey boys! Lunch time!" The boys looked at each other and got up. Bokuto smirked at Akaashi. "RACE YA!" Akaashi was stunned for a second but quickly went running after Bokuto. They both jumped to land on the couch, giggles came out of their mouths. "Okay boys, let's eat!" Ms.Bokuto smiled as she saw Akaashi hugging Bokuto. He was alone and lonely all his life so this was a very special moment to him. Who knows how long it has been since he ate together with people.

The whole day Akaashi was smiling, it seemed like he was always happy. His smile was the brightest out of the room. He didn't seem so shy as he was with other people. This moment was special for Ms.Bokuto, she always thought of Akaashi as a second son. Seeing him smile this way around Bokuto made her overwhelmed. "Mom, why are you crying?!" Ms.Bokuto didn't even notice how tears were streaming down her face. "Its nothing Koutarou..Im just very happy that you and Akaashi are happy" Akaashi smiled and hugged the lady tightly. She was like a mom to him.

There was only an hour left till Akaashi's parents came back. Bokuto and Akaashi were watching a movie about Owls. Bokuto looked at Akaashi who was focused on the show and he tapped on his shoulder slightly. Akaashi turned around and tilted his head in confusion. "Akaashi, Do you want to be together forever?" Akaashi quickly nodded with a smile. "Yeah!You make me happy Bo!" Akaashi got up jumping up and down. Bokuto got up with excitement and screamed his name. A few minutes later they were both panting on the ground. "Hey Bokuto...let's pinky promise to always stay together!" the black-haired boy said as he sat up. Bokuto smiled and sat up facing the short boy, they held their pinky out and wrapped them around each other.
"Promise to always be by my side, Akaashi.."
"I promise Bo!"
