The words he spoke floated around as I tried to get a sense of them. How can something that is forbidden be destined?
Tristan's eyes flickered across every feature of my face, silently engraving them in his mind as a permanent picture. My stomach clenched and my breath hitched from our closeness.
I wanted to pull away; I wanted to distract myself, but from this closeness all I could see were his sparking seafoam eyes It mesmerised me, how they deeply craved to find something within the unknown waters.
"Stop!" I snapped, my voice almost cracking as I spoke. I blinked trying to clear the dizziness his charming eyes brought to my mind.
"What?" His lips spoke the question, making me admire how softly they moved to release it.. So enchanting to admire and crave for. The seafoam eyes seemed to dominate his whole face, especially with the intensity they shone with, the finest feature, standing fiercely against his dark locks of hair.
"Stop looking at me like that, Tristan!" I snapped, trying to push his strong built body off mine. But my desperate attempts remained unfruitful.
"Like what?" The anger in his eyes softened and the seafoam colour shone with a mesmerising glow, than the intensity. A glow that cleared some bit of the confusion within them, dimming the seafoam colour with a slightly darker shade. I didn't understand the ways the colour worked, perhaps if was his way showing, or allowing some bits of emotion to slip. Simple changes that meant so much..
I knew so little about this man, but he was able to enchant me with the colour of his eyes. I wondered if he could see how intensely his eyes reflected onto mine, how the colour embedded into my dark browns, reflecting it perfectly for him. There was just something about this man that made him raw, fearless, pure and untouched, all at the same time.. Something that made it impossible to answer his question.
He made it seem so simple.. so simple not to slip through the cracks of the shield. He was able to hide himself so freely from me, without having to even try, while I slip with a gaze or a comment.. Or from the incredible sparks this man was able to give me.
It was only then I realised how much I missed the sparks, the sparks the fog now kept away, the sparks that were slowly dying with each second that passed. With each second the fog grew heavier and heavier, weighing me down into an abyss of solitude.
The chaotic emotions I tried so desperately to hide from him came forward in a rush, in that moment. I started to almost regret accepting the odd coldness of the fog, and it made me lost... purely lost and confused and just deeping the agony of the lost confidence I had built over the years. My confidence broke around this man. It shriveled in front of him, while it shone with glory in front of others. This man had me craving my confidence back.
"Tristan.." A deep sigh left my lips as I said his name, but even to my own ears it seemed muted from the chaos my mind was currently under. I closed my eyes, leaning my head against the wall as I tried to block out everything every.. effect he laid on me.
But it was another attempt that remained unfruitful as Tristan simply let go of my once held wrists and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer; pushing my body against his.
I gasped, but even before I could snap my eyes open, I felt the softness of his lips against mine. In that second, when my mind seems to have drifted into unconsciousness and the soft sparking of flames, I seemed to have fallen frozen. I seemed to have lost all control, as his lips touched my unmoving ones.
What should have been a plain gesture with no emotions attached, made me into a dizzied mess. I felt the fog drifting off slowly, but its remained dominant ever so slightly, and allowing me to quiver in its coldness, making me crave the heat that radiated off his body.
Quick and unfinished as it slowly tried to fade away the fog. His lips pulled leaving me needing for more.. begging for more. While I wanted to move away, the need to have his lips against mine as simply too much, and much stronger than anything I had ever encountered in my life. A shaky breath escaped through my parted lips as I looked up at him, his eyes giving nothing away as he searched my face.. over my wide eyes that held raw confusion, over my furrowed eyebrows, before coming down to linger his gaze on my parted lips that he had just kissed.
I gulped as my own eyes settled on his sinful lips, my mind screamed through the haziness to run; to get away from the effects this man laid on me, but I seemed to be glued to the ground, stuck in place as his body had pushed me against the wall. I should have just walked away..
I almost shook my head as my urges became too strong to fight, or to control, perhaps that's why my hands seemed to have a mind of their own. They grabbed a hold of his collars and pulled him down to my level again, immediately crashing my lips with his.
I waited to feel the shock at my sudden movements, but I didn't feel any bit of that emotion or anything alike from my actions.. All I felt was relief.. Pure relief of being able to breathe again after drowning for so long. There was no war of emotions in my chest as my lips moved against his. It made my senses go numb, making me unable to think how wrong this was.
I wanted answers, yet here I was, kissing the life out of this man like he was the air my lungs deeply craved for. Once again leaving them quick and unfinished as his lips practically brutalised mine.. a kiss, a bite.. everything a rush, as the simple gesture spoke with such need. Faster, deeper and hungrier has my hands moved up his chest for more. Something rushed through my veins, it wasn't the adrenaline rush I felt when kissing someone so intensely. No, this was different, something coursed through with such speed, yet caressed my deepest parts.
My hands gripped tightly onto his hair, just as his hands that were once cupping my face travelled down to my thighs. His rough hands caressed my skin, sparking nerve after nerve as he lifted me into them, immediately letting me wrap my legs around his body, never letting the kiss break. My lips met him half way through the kisses as he placed me onto the desk, standing in between my legs and tangling his hand in my hair again, as the other found itself on my hip, a strong, yet delightful grip.
My legs wrapped tightly around him, and my hands pulled every bit of soft locks I could possibly hold onto as I pulled him closer to my body. The groan that vibrated through his chest made my body tremble with the need for his heated touches. My blood rushed in through my veins, letting me react fast to every kiss laid on my lips. I gasped, feeling his rough fingers, yet surprisingly soothing touches caressed my bare skin. He had lifted my top and started gently caressing the soft skin of my torso and stomach.
The softest of moans escaped through my lips at the feel of my stomach trembling under his heated, gentle touches.. So as features, but held the strongest of desires.
The sparks that caressed my skin were slowly returning to their full glory, whipping away the fog that dragged me down and letting me seek comfort in the warmth and relief he embraced me with.
