I think we would gone through like this, grabbing onto each other's warmth, if it weren't for the sudden knocks against the wooden doors to his office.

I gasped, pulling my body away from his, letting my thoughts and morals return to me. I gulped, trying to control my laboured breathing as I looked into his eyes. My heart thundered in my chest as irritation washed over his face, "What?!" A disapproving growl.

I found myself almost jumping in surprise at the power and authority that radiated through him. An aura that brought people to their very knees.

"Viviane, wants to see you."

My head shot up at the name, while I didn't feel a bubbling jealousy, anger coursed through my veins. Perhaps it was towards the irritation I, too, felt at the sudden disturbance or maybe it was from the uncontrollable urges my body was suddenly under.. influenced by his very touches.

Regret? Yes...

Sparks of fire threatened to ignite inside me, I regretted, yet loved the sweet moment I was once sharing with Tristan. How this man was easily able to grab onto my uncontrollable desires was beyond me. I was treading across the sharp icy waters and it seemed like he was the only one to pull me into warmth and comfort, filled with rushing desires.

I frowned, running a hand through my hair as I hopped off the desk with a disapproving sigh. I avoided all eye contact with him, stepping off to the side. I wanted to keep as much distance as possible, for the attraction and desires still lingered over the air, ready to snap in place again with an audible click.

I found myself annoyed and staring at the black walls, for even breathing the same air as him started to become a strange closeness that drove to set us back in place.. back into the toxic desires..

"Let her in." His deep voice rumbled through his chest, making me resist the urge to shiver, almost delightfully under it. It was a strange roughness, a guttural sound my ears heard, but set my body humming, like it was the sweetest of harmonies.

Just as I let out a deep breath, the doors opened smoothly, no cringing creaks to here as someone stepped forwards. The sound of soft and light footsteps told me it was a girl .. perhaps Viviane.

Pulling my gaze away from the wall, I was instantly met with a bright young woman with almost platinum blonde hair, running down her shoulders to her mid-back, her curves well defined as she stood straight. Her posture was perfect for the red carpets, especially with her long neck and sharp, yet smooth, shoulders.

"Viv-"

"Want to work for Sooyaa's Desires? As a model?" I asked, cutting off Tristan's words in the process.

He frowned, turning towards me, his eyes holding some deep hatred or annoyance, however I paid no attention to him, only the girl in front of me, light-coloured hair and eyes cold deep as ice, but they held a ray of light that spoke with gentleness.

"My cousin will not subject herself into such a demeaning job and work for you disgusting humans." He exclaimed, his voice rose many decibels, giving a sharp rejection to the offer.

I rolled my eyes, "You were kissing the life out of a disgusting human not long ago." I muttered under my breath, letting my gaze travel to the open doors of the balcony.

"Tristan!" I heard Viviane snap, unlike Austin and Alec, she didn't seem fazed by the authority he held. Her icy depth spoke with courage and a strange affection as she stared at him. A family bond so tight and unbreakable, holding so much understanding for each other with the utmost respect, something I once wished to share with Jackson. But now he was just another scrap of dirt I wanted out of my life.
