Until Then

Ch. 1 Plans change

                 The cold Hebra air swirled around Link as he aimed his bow at Vah Medoh, this was his last chance to save the divine beast. Releasing his arrow time seemed to slow down around him, a piercing screech let him know his hit was dead on. The red force field around Vah Medoh disappeared, he let the winds carry him to the back of the beast.  He went inside immediately warming up. The malice had reached the inside of Vah Medoh, Link winced at her screech of pain.

        He heard a deep voice rumble within the central part of the mechanical beast. Telling him, encouraging him throughout the process of eradicating the foul malice. He was at last at the main terminal, when the malice reared it's ugly head, what stood before Link was Windblight Gannon. "Careful...his aim is deadly" the voice said. Within a moment the creature aimed it's massive weapon at Link who ran to the nearest vent. Taking out his paraglider he was torn from the ground just as a blazing light shot at him. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end and in an instant he was rapid firing arrows. Hitting his enemy to the ground where he wielded the  Master sword down upon the beast. It's shrill scream caused Link to cover his ears as the malice was swept out of existence.  

A blinding blue light wrapped Link in warmth as the figure of a Rito landed in front of him. The green sparked something familiar with Link, he couldn't put his finger on what though. So he stood there as the eyes looked him up and down, a sadness buried behind them. "I must say, I can't believe you actually did it. Well it was obviously because of all the tips I gave you." a smirk crossed his beak. "You did-good.." Revali said as he took note of the wild look within Link's eyes, the same look he would catch himself staring at during the days when they would spar. The same look that took his breath away every morning. He shook out his day dreams and turned around. 

"Oh just go... the princess has been waiting an awfully long time."

Link wants to say something, anything but doesn't get the chance as his body begins to fade, he is being transported without the sheikah slate.

The last of the blue light fades and Revali is alone again. "Fuck!" Revali's sobs fill the now empty space. His knees buckle falling to the floor, jagged breath rattling his entire body. He hadn't screamed or even cried even when he died and woke up alone. He sat for goddess knows how long and cursed Hylia, cursed Gannon and cursed himself even more for not being able to live. Live for the one who loved him and who he loves in return. "Link, I'm so sorry. " his voice comes out hoarse from screaming "I am so sorry, I love you..." 

The words fall only to the ears of Medoh. Whereas then She lets out a cry that is filled with anguish and sorrow. Their connection was strong, but still being a machine she felt as best she could. And she realized that he wasn't doing well, She let out another cry after they landed. She was calling out to Link as often as Revali was. Link was still in the village, he couldn't bring himself to leave. He needed to know why the gaping hole in his memories hadn't been filled even though he had been everywhere else but here. Hours go by and he is in the mountains, trying to find Revali's secret house which he had written about in his diary. He has to find out why everything was fine till he met the green eyed Rito.
