Until Then

ch.2 I'm here

There he sees, tucked within the mountain itself was a log cabin, over all still standing. Time had obviously been the cause of rotting wood. He glided down, hesitant to enter for fear of what he would find. He touched the door knob and then was sucked into a memory. The memory came into clear view.

Link sighed, it had been a long day and he was finally home. He went to open the door when it swung open on it's hinges. With an angry Revali standing there, a white and blue apron on. Tapping his talons on the floor.

"You're late." He said with a fierce tone. And immediately started circling Link checking for injuries no doubt. When he couldn't find anything, he went to attack Link's neck with pricks and pinches, light delicate nuzzles as he breathed in his lover's scent. Revali sighed.

Link turned around in his lover's grasp, taking his beak in his hands and touched his nose to the soft part. And further nuzzled into Revali's arms. He stood on his tip toes and bit the secret sensitive area on Revali's neck. Revali tilted his head back for better access.

"I'm still mad, you're late again. And you smell like sweat! " Revali said pouty and breathy like it was hard to concentrate on what he was saying. Link stepped off with an obvious whine from Revali. And lifted his hands "Well why don't you and I go wash up, perhaps you can teach me not to be late again" with that he winked Revali stood quiet till Link finished, then immediately fluffed up.

Embarrassment clear in his eyes. "Well then, we're in that kind of mood tonight. Hmm dinner won't be done till later so I should have enough time to" he quickly pulled Link close and in his ear he whispered "Teach you a lesson" then bit the tip of Links ear. That earned him a small moan and he could feel links body heat up from embarrassment. Feeling satisfied, he released Link and touched his beak to his nose again.

 They kissed and made their way inside. Link is thrown back into the present, he remembers Revali! oh my Hylia! He and Revali we're friends! No Lovers! The last memories he had gotten were of Revali being a total jackass and well he didn't like who he was before. He's nothing like that anymore..

That's when he heard Vah Medoh screech and after a minute another one. She seemed like she was in pain, But he had just saved them, then he thought Revali. He hadn't said anything about them.. Well what was he supposed to say Link huffed

"Hey, I know you have no memories of me or anything but I hated you. Then we fell in love and were courting each other. Then we died in battle. Welcome back "

Link started to run. Back to Vah Medoh, when he remembered he could just teleport.

Another cry echoed out when the blue lights dispersed and he found himself by the foot of Vah Medoh. He quickly made his way toward the beast, usually if he tried to touch them again. They would teleport him back on the ground. But He could feel Vah Medoh in pain and he knew it was Revali. So she allowed him inside once again.

He entered and could hear sobbing, coming from the top of her head. He ran faster

Making his way to the top he found Revali's spirit in the same place he had left him in. But instead of standing tall he was weeping openly on the ground. Hugging his knees

Link ran to Revali. Sure he didn't remember everything. But he knew enough and still felt all of the love and care for his partner.

It hurt him greatly seeing him like this. As he reached Revali, he could hear his name being repeated over and over as a prayer for help. He got down in front of him, but Revali couldn't see.

Too much in his head to focus, too many tears. So Link grabbed his winged hands he didn't even know if he could, but there he held them, kissed them.

"Revali" he said in a very soft but pained voice. It was rough like gravel. At that moment Revali looked up. Tears still streaming down his face, their eyes met

"Y-you spoke. You're here! "He started coughing, his voice strained from crying. He hadn't heard Link's voice since the last night they had made love. Link's vision became blurry with unshed tears. "I'm here" He repeated " I remember it all. I remember Us." and that broke him, tears welled in his eyes. Revali stopped shaking, stopped crying. He then jumped Link and a fresh wave of tears broke free as he held his lover.

"Link! My beloved, stupid, crazy self sacrificing, beautiful hero!" Link was also crying as he held the Rito tighter. "Stupid huh?" He said in a teasing manner "Yes ! And don't forget brash, stubborn, bitchy, loving, cute. " Each new word a new nip or kiss was given on links pale skin. "I love you" link said finally. Revali looked down at him and the tears had started flowing again, their eyes red and puffy. "I love you as well."

He presses his beak to Links nose and gently rubs them together ,a sweet kiss.

They both knew Link only had one more task to be done. But for now they could just enjoy the night and sunrise. Holding each other, saying sweet nothings. Talking about where Link's been and how the other champions were when he arrived and freed them. He asked how the village was even though he knew none of the current occupants. The sun was rising and they knew with heavy hearts this was it.
