You sighed while looking at the sunrise.

'Another day...' you looked at Kakashi who just got out of the house.

"(Y/n). Let's go?" He said as he smiles. You nodded.

You and Kakashi are walking.

"Where are we going?" You asked.

"Well, there will be an event."

"What event?"

"Just wait and see." He smiled as you arrived at the academy.

"What are we doing here?"

"We're going to watch these kids perform."

A few minutes later...

The show started. Some of them were singing, dancing, showing their talents, some are performing ninjutsu, and other kinds of stuff.

"Oh, you see that little girl over there?" Kakashi said while pointing at a little girl with black shirt hair who has a short ponytail tied above her head. You looked in the direction.

"Um." you nodded. "What about it?"

"She's Asuma and Kurenai's daughter." you looked at Kakashi with a shocked face.

"Really?!"

After the event...

You waited for Kurenai's daughter and approach her with Kakashi.

"Hello, Mirai." Kakashi greeted the little girl.

"Kakashi-san! Hello!"

"H-Hello there." you said. She looked at you with a curious face. Later on, she smiled.

"Hello!" She said while smiling. As she looked around, she saw her mother. "Mother!" She ran into her and hugged her.

"Mirai, I got you your— (Y/n)?"

"How are you now? Are you staying for good? We missed you!" Kurenai said talking to you at a bar.

"I'm good." You said and smiled at her.

"So, are you staying for good? Don't leave us again, alright?" She said.

"Actually... I'm not sure yet. I'm not staying for too long."

"Aww. I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too, you know? You're one of my only friends here including Asuma and Guy. By the way, where's Asuma? On a mission?" You asked and then drink.

You saw Kurenai's reaction. She looked down with a sad face and drink.

"Why? What happened? Did you two didn't end up together? That's impossible." You said with a worried face. She looked at you and smiled.

"Of course, that's impossible. We love each other, you know that."

"Then, what's the problem?"

"He's dead." You're we're speechless and shocked after what she said.

"I'm... I'm sorry for asking about it. I shouldn't have—"

"No, it's fine." She smiled and drink. "Until now it hurts, but... I'll get used to it."
