Rei POV (Thursday)

"Rei come here dear" I hear my mom call from the living room. "Coming mother" I yelled fixing myself up and heading downstairs. When I walked in I saw a man that was about my age very handsome he had red hair, beautiful blue eyes, tall, and he was really fit just my type. "Oh hello" I said to him just waving awkwardly. "Dear we were just talking about you" My mother said to me with he sweet voice. "Oh and what exactly were you talking about?" I asked. My mom looked at my dad and they nodded at each other before saying "We think you should marry this young man here" I was in shock from them saying that. "What? your selling me off?" I said angrily. "No of course not but it would benefit us and you in the long run." my mother said while my dad kept quiet about everything. "Well that's what it sounds like" I said with tears in my eyes running upstairs to my room. My mom yelled "REI GET BA-" she was cut off by the the slam of my door. "I leaned against the door and listened to what they were saying done stairs while tears ran down my cheeks.

"Just let her be alone for a little she'll need it" I heard my dad say. "Sorry for that Mr.?" My mom said. "You can just call me Enji I'm going to be your future son in law so no need to be so formal" I heard the other man say. "Your right" I heard my dad say. "Well I better go I'll be back to pick her up Saturday" I heard the man say. I just started crying even more. 'Why do my parents have to control my life' I said in my mind. 'Maybe I should do it for my parents' I said looking into the mirror crying and smiling. 'I give them to much control' I said in my mind crying harder and falling asleep.

(Friday)

I woke up to find myself in the same clothes has last night. I got up and changed then headed downstairs hoping I wouldn't run into my parents. "Good Morning Honey" my mom said sitting at the table sipping her coffee. "Morning" I said blandly. "Look sweetie we need the money we are poor and he promised he would take good care of you. He's rich and the money would help us and you." my mom said. I just looked at the floor and started making cereal. "Rei look at me please." my mom said when I lifted my head she had tears in her eyes. "We love you and we need you to do this please" She asked. "I'm sorry mom but no" I said. My dad walked in looking mad and said "YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE WE ARE GOING TO KICK YOU OUT OR YOUR GOING TO MARRY THAT RICH MAN" my dad said furious. "THAN I'LL BE HOMELESS" I yelled back. "Can you guys calm down please, and Rei can you please just go on the date on Saturday with him please for me?" my mom said with tears running down he face. It's hard to say no to someone crying so I agreed with her terms. The day passed slowly but when it came night time I couldn't sleep. Until I finally started drifting off and fell fast asleep
