Walking down to the dungeons Rowan and Sirius walked into comfortable silence until he decided to break it.

"You do look really beautiful" Sirius said looking straight at her.

Rowan looked up at him and blushed, she was never used to these types of compliments."Thank you Sirius, you look handsome." she said giving him a small grin

Sirius gave her a small smile seemingly calm but on the inside he was a nervous mess thinking he was gonna do something stupid.

"Here we are" he said opening up the door to the room slug club was being held he walked arm in arm with Rowan and people immediately looked at them whispering

Wow she looks great!

She is finally noticing him.

Why would Sirius come with that?

Rowan's eyes searched for who made the last comment and her eyes falling on none other than Scarlett Verbs.

Sirius pulled a chair for Rowan and he took a seat next to her.

"Aw welcome Ms Weasley, Mr Black, nice to see you acquainted with one-another" Slughorn said with a knowing twinkle in his eyes. "Now back to what you were saying about your career options Mr McLaggan." Drew finally tore his eyes off Rowan and looked over to Slughorn.

"Oh yes. I was thinking of becoming an auror. As someone who comes from a long line of them it's expected." Drew said with a smug tone obviously trying to impress Rowan, who was mindlessly moving food on her plate.

Sirius noticed this and leaned down to say something to Rowan. "When McLaggan is smart enough to pass the auror exam pigs will fly." Rowan stifled a laugh which caught the attention of some of the members throwing weird expressions.

"What about you Ms Weasley, what are your plans." Slughorn beamed at one of his favorite students

"Oh I plan to either be a professional quidditch player or a professor, preferably in transfigurations or potions." Rowan said awkwardly not liking the eyes on her. Slughorn smiled

"It would be an honor to work alongside you if you were to teach and as for quidditch I don't doubt you becoming a professional." Rowan nodded with a smile happy to have the approval from her favorite professor.

As dinner was being dismissed Sirius got caught in a conversation with Lily Evans by the door, so Rowan was walking down the corridor alone

"Wait up Row." said the last voice she wanted to hear                                  .ever.

"What do you want McLaggan and i've told you not to call me that" she snapped

"Well i was wondering if you wanted to come to hogsmeade with me next weekend?" he asked with a smirk thinking he was going to get her to say yes

Rowan looked at him before laughing. "I've said it once i'll say it again. No." she rolled her eyes and turned around to proceed walking but was stopped by Drew grabbing her wrist with his sweaty hand.

"What's so special about Sirius that you gave him all the attention huh? Are you sleeping with him? I wouldn't be surprised I mean look at you." he said looking her up and down with a snarl on his face

"Let her go." said a familiar voice from the end of the corridor.

Rowan looked around Drew to see Sirius and Lily standing there with angry expressions.
