Derek's POV
I woke up to my phone ringing so I answered it and we had a case. I hung up the phone and I tried to get up but something was holding me down and I looked down to see Tara laying beside me holding onto my torsos and I shook her awake
"Tara" I say shaking her she didn't wake up
"Tara" I say again and this time she woke up and looked at me
"Tell me you don't have a case" she says looking sad
"I'm sorry baby" I say kissing her head
"Why are you down here I thought you were upstairs" I ask wanting to know why she was down here not that I don't want her to be but I know she is going to have a aching back
"I was up reading until someone threw a rock at the window and when I looked out it was a man standing on the sidewalk so I got scared and came down here" she says looking me dead in the eye
I thought to myself
Please don't tell me we're being stalked
I don't want nothing to happen to any of them
"I don't if this the same thing but when me and Lanna went to the ice cream shop I didn't know this man was starting at us until Lanna got my attention and told me that the man was starting at us and she was feeling uncomfortable so I picked her up to keep her close to me" I say to her
"Is we being stalked" she ask
"I don't know but just be careful okay" I say
"Okay" she says

Hours Later
It was 8:00 in the morning and I woke Lanna up and we ate breakfast then I dropped Lanna off at school and I went back home to get ready for my morning run. I wore black tights and a blue sports bra with a blue nike jacket and I dressed Dj in some boy shorts and a tank top and a small hat since it was hot outside. So I left the house put Dj in the stroller and took off running.
After a while of running I saw a bench so I decided to sit down. I sat down and leaned my head back and closed my eyes for a while catching my breathe until I felt a presence beside me I opened my eyes to see a man sitting on the bench beside me and he was looking at me
"Um excuse me" I say
The man stopped looking and acted like he didn't know that he was starring
"Oh sorry mam" he says getting up and walking to a car parked near by and got in. So I looked over to see Dj asleep so I decided to head home. As I was jogging home I noticed the car that the man got in was following me so I picked up my pace and I finally made it to the house and I went in and I made sure every door was locked every window I made sure all the blinds and curtains was closed then I went upstairs put Dj in his room and I closed his door then I grabbed a water bottle and sat on the sofa and started watching TV.
About an hour later I heard a knock on the door. So I got up and looked in the peep hole to see the man I saw earlier and I hollered behind the door
"What do you want" I say
"Um you dropped your child's blanket" he says holding it up at the peephole
"Okay just leave it on the porch" I say heading back to the couch and that's when I saw the door handle jiggling so I got up grabbed my phone went to DJ's room he was still sleep I grabbed him went to mines and Derek's room and locked the door then I set Dj in his baby swing the I sat against the door and I called Derek
Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring
No answer
Then I called again
This is Derek Morgan please leave a message
He's probably busy. That's when I heard the front door open and I heard the man
"Come out come out wherever you are" he says then I hear footsteps coming up the stairs that's when I saw the door handle shaking so I got up and grabbed Derek's bat and I stood in front of the door and that's when the door was kicked in and he was coming towards me and he also woke Dj up and he was crying
"What do you want" I say and he stops and look towards me and then Dj then back to me
"Don't you dare" I say and I hit him in the leg with the bat then he came towards me
"You bitch" he says and he was about to punch me until I dodged it and I ran downstairs and he came to I went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and I stood there pointing it at him
"Get out or I will" I say before I got cut off
"Or you'll what call your husband" he says sarcastic
"I'm warning you" I say that's when he comes to me and before I get to react he grabbed me by my hair and held the knife to my neck
"Look who's the dominant one now" he says laughing I elbow him in the stomach and he let me go then I punched him in the face and he dropped the knife and when I was about to grab it he got It before me and stabbed me dead in the stomach
"Uggg" I say falling on the ground and all I can hear is Dj cries and the man pushed the knife in further and then I was unconscious
Derek's POV
Our case is finally over and we was on the jet so I decided to call Tara. I looked at my phone to see several missed calls from her so I call her back
No answer
Then I try again
No answer
Then I call the house phone
No answer
"Damnit" I say and got everyone's attention
"What's wrong Morgan" says Emily
"Tara isn't answering her phone" I say

We finally made it home and I tried to call again but no answer so me and team headed to my house and when we got there the door was already open and Dj cries then I looked on the floor to see Tara laying in her own pool of blood with a knife inside her stomach
"TARA" I say running to her to check her pulse but there wasn't any
"Omg" says JJ with tears in her eyes
That's when I hear Dj
"Can one of y'all get him" I say and JJ headed up the stairs
"I'll call an ambulance" says Hotch
"No no no come on Tara you can't leave me" I say
"How can I let this happen" I say positioning her on my lap and I held onto her limp body
"Morgan" says Emily
"The medics are here" she says
That's when they came in and told me to move out the way so they can put her on the stretcher and wheeled her out I just stared at the blood on the floor and anger rised up in me and I punched the wall
"Morgan stop it" says Rossi
"She could be dead Rossi" I say
"Hey hey hey have faith okay I don't believe she would just give up like that" says Rossi
"I guess your right" I say then I thought of Lanna
So I got in the ambulance with Tara and we headed to the hospital I asked JJ and Emily to pick Lanna up from school.
