CHAPTER SIX

The eerie eyes saw everything and yet it did nothing, letting the events of the night unfold. Many peculiar phenomenas has been happening lately and it will be quite interesting for all of them. Things that will eventually turn their long boring mundane life upside down.

Meanwhile, the young pup continued his search for the elusive scent and unbeknownst to him, he was being guided all along. He all but forgotten about his savior and companion in search of the scent. THere was just something about it that entices him.

Taehyung was bewildered and confused.

He was just with the vampire a while ago and now he is in he middle of the wilderness. Not even in the forest that he knew like the back of his hands. No, this was a different place all together.

Thick looming trees that dwarfs him in size. Their canopies completely covering the night skies. THere was something familiar about the place but he could not pinpoint what. Only the loud frantic pounding in his chest was the only indication that whatever familiarity it was, it isn't a positive association.

He proved that right when a group of hooded figures jump out of the bushes and ran from where he stood. It was not the people that gave him chills, it was the monsters that were running after them.

Huge monsters cloaked in shadows. their eyes were burning blue flames. Dripping from their wide mouth and scissor like teeth were ink like acid, and their knife like claws were enough to mangle and kill their pray.

three of those creatures hunt down the group of eight; two of them, a man and woman, looked like the leaders. Their royal garments indicating their much higher status than the rest.

HIs eyes were drawn on the woman, in her arms was a bundle of green silken cloth and the sound of baby cries. The man shouted for the six others to take formation. Ready to defend the woman and the baby she was carrying with great care.

One of the knights shouted for the man to take the woman and the child. And the man did. They ran deeper in the forest, their way was guided by little floating flames in the air. Upon closer look they were wood sprites.

Taehyung was rooted to the spot, but he did not need to move to see what was about to happen, it was all like a horror movie playing infront of him.

Two more shadow beasts sprang from both sides pushing the man to lag behind to stop them and telling the woman to run faster.

To not look back and ran to safety.

The view of the scene changes. It focused on the running woman. Another beast came from the tree branches above and eagerly chased her. She chanted and white flames burst out of nowhere burning the beast. The beast thrashed extinguishing the flames from it's upper body disregarding the rest of his anatomy burning in favor of giving chase to it's pray.

The woman did not slow down to look back she ran straight up, until she could see the galaxy like veil. It was familiar to Taehyung, it was a lay line. So that meant whatever he was seeing it was happening in the fae realm.

The beast was gaining ground behind them. The woman made haste. Infront of them a huge white shadow that resembles a bird came down to intercept the woman, she immediately handover the bundle of crying baby to the spirit and she rashly turn back, ready to fight.

Taehyung felt his heart drop watching the woman fight. It felt like he was drowning in horror. He gulped and looked at the spirit. In it's beak was the green silk and what as in there staring at him, were the same familiar eyes that he see everyday... in front of the mirror.

Before he could reach out the bird flew into the veil, and a cold strong hand covered his eyes.

Taehyung gasped and took a huge breath of air. Everything was just dark an quiet. The only thing he could feel was the cold hand still covering his eyes. His trembling fingers came up and caressed the hands on his face then he gripped them away from his eyes.

The bluish silver room that he remembered he were at greeted him. He took in a sharp breath and slowly turned backwards. Intense silver orbs clashed with his vibrant green ones.

The man was awake and quietly watching him. Only his harsh breathing were echoing in the room. But the fear that was gripping him was slowly fading in the presence of the vampire's cold calm.

" What was that?" he asked disoriented.

"You shouldn't be here." was the vampire's calm but raspy tone. "What are you doing here anyway?"

" I-I was..."

"Well, whatever your reason is you can't just enter my dwelling without my brother or my familiars not noticing. Next time don't touch me when I'm sleeping. You dont want to experience that again do you?"

"I...w-what was that?"

"You're better off not knowing." For now. Was what Yoongi wanted to add but he refrained himself from doing so.

He opened up his senses and looked through his magic surrounding their territory at what had happened.

Obviously this two, because he sensed a wolf cub in the manor, trespassed but it was not only them. There were some men who became food chow for Sebastian, and the serpent familiar, looked so pleased with his unexpected food.

He sighed. He looked at the visibly shaken lad. Something about the dream resonated with the young fae. He sighed again. He hated tedious work. But he has a duty to his familiar. He gently placed his hand to the blue haired man and pushed a sleeping command. He effortlessly lift in a lovers carry the unconscious fae.

A huge white owl flew down from its frozen perch, and landed on the pale man's right shoulder as it always does.

The raptor then touch it's beak on the unconscious man's forehead and the lad smiled.

"You knew this would happen Athena. All along this is where the heavens wanted us to be. Interesting indeed."

Mean while there was an intense fight on the pack land's boarder as the number of mercenary hunters grew in the area. It was not the first time they had encounters, but the humans grew bolder and bolder by the day. Perhaps it has something to do with the blood prince's influence and the growing imbalance in the immortal realm.

A little more time and an all out war was about to break.

It looks like what Sebastian ate wasn't the only ones. An elated smile painted the silver head's plump lips. His glowing galaxy eyes showed his mirth. Sebastian was like Leviathan on land. And it's been so long since he had his belly filled.

So he saw no problem loosening his leash a little bit. After all his hibernation period was over. All their familiar were.

He petted the now sleeping pup in his arms as he watched from the huge rose stained windows.

Now it's time to play.

What an eventful night indeed.
