Hoseok felt the concentrated pulse of pure power a mile away from the tower. He knew that the beautiful vampire's brothers are on their way to meet him.
He sighed and pecked Eira's forehead, disconnecting the mental bond between them so that the youngest Genesis sister could rest. In saving the woman, he had forged a bond with her. Since the only way for the vampire to survive is to feed on both blood and power. Which he both have in abundance.
He was after all the high Mage. The current head of the Magus warlocks. He was the most skilled wizard of this century.
He knew the existence of Genesis through the restricted scriptures passed down to one high mage to another. It was the most coveted information, but sadly knowledge of them were far and few in between.
He knew what they were and what they were capable of, but he did not know what they look like and their exact locations. So he was extremely flummoxed when one reached out to him. The surge in pure power drawn him to her hidden location. He had great affinity with mana so she was like a shinning beacon to him even if she was a country away.
When the Genesis vampiress, recognized his power, she paved a mental link showing him what happened to her and warned him of the threat, in return he created a bond tying the two of them for eternity.
Warlocks and wizards do not have mates or half souls. But he had created one. He had formed a mate bond with one of the last purest of vampire bloods.
Through the bond. She shared her memories, her thoughts and her feelings as well as her power. He could never part from her and her to him. They were intertwined together forever.
She even told him that she can be saved. By consuming her maker's blood. Her weakness can be healed. And she can only have that if he let her brothers come.
And there was no doubt these beings are her brothers, not only by their ancient power but their similar presence to her. He squeezed her soft hands and went out of the room, the most magically protected room in all the heart of Seoul.
He felt them before he saw them. Cloaked in shadows and embraced by darkness they stopped an inch from his magic barrier. Their cloaks make them look like the horsemen of apocalypse. He gulped. According to his mate, the three is Vlad's assassins, not the strongest but the deadliest of her kin.
"High Mage of the Magus Tower. We came in peace and in gratitude for the care of our sister kin." The tallest figure said. He seems to be the spokesperson among the three.
"The blood of my mate is always welcome within the Magus." If the brothers were shocked with his bold statement they did not show any indication. If not for his mate's bond with them, he would not have sense their interest with his news.
"Can we meet her? We have brought her blood from the maker."
"Yes of course. Allow me." He said raising his staff and waved it in circular motion. Opening a pathway for the three to pass through.
With the barriers lifted he can feel the full potency of their auras. Eira was right. There is something quiet but deadly with these brothers.
"Please follow me. We will take the private passage to my quarters. The warlocks aren't ready to meet you yet. they were still recuperating from the encounter with the witches as well as the first attack to the tower." Hoseok said.
"When?"
"Yesterday. What surprised us was that it wasn't a vampire attack. But the exiles of our kind. However, they bore the mark that symbolizes the vampire royalty. In Eira's memories that is the mark of our common enemy."
