Anush left the old house and finally reached home, she couldn't sleep thinking about all the things she had done with Sappho the past week but in the end, her conscience believed in the greater good than the right thing to do, she thought about how Sappho was playing karma's role, and hoped no one would know about the nightly adventures they had been doing together, some how she snoozed off after thinking how she was helping those victims get justice after all.
As morning came, Anush casually strolled in her house awaiting for Sappho's call or text.
She waited and waited and waited, the minutes turned into hours and day turned into night, the call didn't come so she tried to DM her on the fake account, but @itsmetom was gone, vanished, not a single trace of it. She called all the numbers she had for Sappho but she couldn't reach any. She even asked Elisa to trace them but it was a dead end. She rushed to the old house but she couldn't find where it was, the address on her phone disappeared, the history of her google maps was no where to be found, how could all of it just vanish, it was like Sappho and Arvi never existed.
Anush looked for the live gang videos and pages but everything was just GONE, even the videos that had surfaced of the killings were GONE.
The tribe got together and listened to her tales at Baking Quest, and gasped as they heard the entire ordeal.
"That's some creepy stuff, thank god they disappeared", Avantika said. Elisa and Zehra just looked too stunned to talk.
"The scrubbing from the internet is phenomenal, its done by someone who knows the system too well" Elisa said as she tried retrieving any information about them or the live gang.
Three weeks had gone by, but no news about the two came, Anush was back to researching for articles the old way and writing some fun articles about surveys instead of dangerous stuff.
Suddenly when she saw a newspaper article,
"Suspected Members of Live Gang found DEAD", the article said that Unity and Sky had been found dead in an old house near a village which had been up for redevelopment as the house was owned by the government. Workers found the dead bodies when they had been there to demolish the house, Lucky and AJ were found shot at their residence.
It seems the house belonged to late Major Sapna Phogat and after she was martyred in a battle, the house then went to the government as there was no other family.
Anush read this and felt puzzled, something about this made her uneasy, it was like she had missed something.
She re-read the article again and again until it clicked.
"Oh my god" she immediately called her sister and said "I know who Sappho is – her real name is Sapna Phogat in short Sappho (SAPna PHOgat) and she is not dead like the article I sent you says"
This was news and all of them went to their favourite spot, and Elisa took out an entire rap sheet on Sappho's life.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Sapna Phogat
Family History: had a sister and parents
History: was on trial for killing Parents, but was left scot free after knowing she acted in self defence. Her parents sold off her elder sister and were trying to sell her as well to traffickers so instead, she stabbed them to death.
Later joined the army after 12th standard and served till the last breath in the Kargil war
Death: Kargil War

"Here's her picture from her Army days" Elisa showed them a photo
"That's her alright! No wonder she is so reserved hates people and has trust issues" Anush sighed. She thought about that photo frame and how that was actually Sappho's actual family.
"Faking her own death wow, I didn't that was possible in real life" Zehra finally said.
"At least, you don't have to worry about The Live Gang anymore" Avantika said.
Anush's phone pinged, she opened the web browser to find a new article with the headline "115 people saved from various locations across India- survivors claim they were freed by 2 unidentified persons wearing helmets and riding a Harley Davidson."
Anush just chuckled at this news, "Well I guess Sappho did have a reason to smile that time" she thought, just then she got a ping from Instagram.
This time it was from @itsmeharry account, she immediately opened the message.
It said:
Hey Anu, it's me, I know you saw the news, Sapna misses you and me too, even though you haven't figured out my life yet. Hope to never see you again but let's see where life takes us right? Hope you didn't wait too much for our call. Also don't bother tracking this message, I might be in London, Paris or Kathmandu by the time you trace this. Also I don't have any brother called Arvind, I mean it would be weird to have Arvi and Arvind as sibling names but you bought it. Love Harry, Sapna and Arushi. Find me if you can... Sappho doesn't know I texted you!
Anush read this message and before she could show it to the others it vanished like every other trace of them, it was like they were the wind and Anush was a spectator enjoying the wind for a second and then looking at it go from a distance.
Anush didn't bother to update this part to her gang, after all it was useless to spend energy to find them.
She knew that they would be found only when they wanted to be, so she waited for that day.
She waited and waited and waited.
