prologue.

as a kid, i always looked up to those books of fiction that every kid was told when they were little. every romance inside of it was something that i wanted to experience.

though, my parents are super strict with who i date. they have to be rich, attractive, have good family connections. they basically want me to date someone way out of my league. my family is rich, and though we don't go around flaunting our money like the average rich person, that doesn't mean my family doesn't have the standards of an average rich person.

one of my favorite fairy tale stories is cinderella. i've always wanted to be swept off my feet and taken away from my horrible family. romeo and juliet is also one of my favorite forms of fiction. i relate a lot to juliet.

my parents pressure me too much to take over our family company, since i am their only child. they push their dreams and goals onto me like a puppet and i can't do anything about it. everyone in my parents' company knows my name for the sole purpose of future me having to take over it.

i go to a public high school and i'm in my last year. i didn't wanna go to a private school, because when i was in my middle school years i was in a private school and most of the kids were very stuck up. this seems to be the one decision that my parents seemed to let me take charge on, so it sort of surprised me.

however, my last year at u.a, the school i go to, was so far from what i expected it to be. a new kid moved in and peaked my interest. that's where it all started.

a/n :: hello everyone :) i haven't written a story on here in forever so please forgive me if the writing is bad. i took creative writing for two years in high school (freshmen and sophomore year) so i'd hope that i have gotten better. dialogue is not my forte, so forgive me if i sound ooc or super empty and bland! also, i aged up class 1-a so that they're in their last year of high school, so they're in class 3-a now. this story is inspired by romeo and cinderella by hatsune miku so you should check it out! it's a really great song. i would recommend playing it towards the end of the story, but it's up to you. i'll be using the english song lyrics of this song, but i'll be using the lyrics of the youtuber jubyphonic and *razzy, so credits to them for the lyrics! once again, i hope you enjoy! the cover is made by my bestie, jackie :) palepaper  thank you so much for making my cover 😩🙏🏻
