"Rae!" Hercules opened the door for them and immediately hugged her.
"Hey there little guy!" Lyrae hugged him back. "Finally home from camp, huh?"
"I ran back home from school when I heard from mom that you're home." He said.
"Aw, miss you bub." Lyrae kissed his head, "I want you to meet Jaxon."
Jaxon smiled at Hercules, "Hey Hercules, right?"
Hercules face turned serious and offered his hand to Jaxon. Lyrae laughed and shook her head at her brother.
"Hercules." He introduced and Lyrae burst out laughing at how serious he was.
"Rae?" Her mom peeked from the kitchen. "Oh my gosh! Rae's back boys! And with Jaxon!" Her mom yelled and removed her apron.
Jaxon smiled at Hercules and shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, Hercules."
"Hello Jaxon!" Lyrae's mom greeted him and went to hug him, "I'm Alyssa, Lyrae's mother."
"Pleasure to meet you Alyssa, I'm Jaxon." Jaxon hugged her back.
"Oh, you look handsome." Alyssa said and laughed. Lyrae's dad and older brother walked in. "Here's my husband, Christian and our oldest son, Draco."
"Hello sir, pleasure to meet you." Jaxon offered his hand to Christian.
"Pleasure to meet you too." Christian said.
"Draco." Lyrae's brother introduced.
"Jaxon, pleasure to meet you." Jaxon shook hands with Draco as well.
"You too."
"Why don't we all go in the dining room." Alyssa said.
"Wow mom!" Lyrae chuckled, "You went all out." She said while looking at all the food she prepared.
Christian chuckled, "She did. She wanted to make all her best recipes."
Alyssa gently slapped her husbands chest, "Well, I wanted to impress my potential future-in-law."
Lyrae groaned, "Oh mom."
Jaxon chuckled, "I'm flattered. Thank you."
Jaxon sat beside Lyrae and her mom kept giving him food. "Mom." Lyrae laughed, "I think that's enough."
Jaxon chuckled, "Thanks Alyssa."
"So, what do you do Jaxon?" Christian asked.
"I was handling my parents business before coming here." Jaxon said.
"Where are you from?" Draco asked.
"I'm from Vancouver."
Christian nodded, "Not very far."
"How many girlfriends have you had?" Draco asked.
"I had two girlfriends." Jaxon said.
"And how long did it last?" Hercules asked.
"The first one lasted for two years, the second lasted for four years." Jaxon said. "Both broke up on good terms. It was a mutual decision."
Lyrae smiled and squeezed his hand. They continued eating and after, Christian pulled Jaxon for a chat in private.
Lyrae kissed his cheeks and squeezed his hand before he stood up and left with her dad.
"So." Her mom gave her a teasing smile when Jaxon left with her dad. "How do you feel about him?"
