Chapter 5

Previously on not a simple love story..........

"Ok remind me that Dinah should never drive again." I said out of breath.

"Hey, you guys didn't want to drive." She said holding her hands up.

We made our way into McDonald's and ordered our food. We just got our order and started stuffing our faces. 

We heard a gunshot in the distance.

Some people dressed in black came in and threatened the cashier.

"Come on guys let's get out of here." Ariana said very scared.

"But-but my fooood." I said trying to reach for the food while Ariana was dragging me.

"You girl with the blond highlights, come over here and give me your money." He said pointing to Dinah.

"Oh hell no." She said, now I was more scared.

"What did you say." He said taking his gun out.

"Dinah look out!" Ariana shouted pushing Dinah out of the way and waiting to take the bullet, but then a guy pushed Ariana put of the way and took the bullet himself.

"Camila." He said quietly. I recognised that voice from the concert. He was the guy that saved us at the concert.I rushed  over to me.

"How do you know me." I asked Shocked

"Well long story short your dad hired me to look out for you and not get you into trouble." He said in pain.

"Ugh my father never trusts me to take care of myself." I said. "Wait whats your name?"

"Mendes,Shawn Mendes." He said.

"Someone call the ambulance." Ariana shouted when she saw the robbers had left.

Ariana rushed over to me. I told her who Shawn was and everything. When Ariana look at him she was surprised. She started having a panic attack.

"Dinah get the thing for the breathing thing!" I shouted.

"Ok Ari breathe." I said calmly. Ariana started breathing in and out. She calmed down.

"Whats wrong Riri." Dinah said using Ariana baby name.

"It's just-." Before she could finish the ambulance came and rushed Shawn to the hospital. I asked if I could come with and they agreed. We arrived at the hospital and was now waiting in the lobby.

"Shawn was one of my best friends in my neighborhood. He was the only one who was there for me. I started to developing a crush on him. One day I told him about my feelings ,but he never like me back and said he liked someone else. I asked him who he was and he said Camila Cabello. I was shocked when be said that. I then became your friend so that I knew your crush and start dating him, but that later changed because you are the most sweetest person in the world and I knew that I was doing a wrong thing and I became your real friend. Please don't be mad at me." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Ariana I could never hate you ever, you're my best friend and nothing can change that. Not even something that happened in the past, same goes to you Dinah." I said.

"Aww, I love you guys. You best thing that has ever happened in my life." We look at Ariana touching our hearts.

"But remember when we first met Camila  and she was this shy and nerdy girl who was obsessed with bows and had cute little bows on her glasses." Dinah said as I blushed thinking of how nerdy I was.

"And Dinah was the bad girl who never did her homework, always talked back to teachers and got sent to the principles office so much she memorized the way. I'm surprised you even passed." I said looking at Dinah.

"I passed because I had to do summer school and gained a lot of marks." Dinah said.

"And Ariana was that popular bitch, who always dated the popular guys, but that changed when she met us." Dinah said adding a smile.

"Um people who are here for Shawn Mendes." A doctor said. We stood up and followed the doctor.
