CHAPTER 5

APOLOGIES

WOOBYUL'S POV;

Again, I woke up early today. I decided to wash up and maybe go out to get some air. It's weekend so pajamas would be a perfect clothes to wear. It's starting to get cold because winter season is coming. As I walk towards our gate I saw Haknyeon from their door step playing with his dog.

"Hey!" I approached walking towards their gate. He also walk towards me to open up the gate. "Would you mind if I?"

"No of course. Come in."

"I'll just sit here. By the way your husky is cute." I said checking it. "Oh it's a she! Hahaha. What her name?"

"Hershey." He answered.

"Hello there Hershey!" I brushed her fur.

"By the way Woobyul. You were two days absent. What happened?" He asked as he sat beside Hershey. "I went to your classroom yesterday and Woobin told you that you're absent."

"I'm just trying to avoid trouble Haknyeon."

"And Winter?"

"What do you mean?" I ask in confusion.

"You're brother, Giwook, and Sunwoo have been distant to Winter. That's the current issue in Hanlim tho. They had a fight when you left."

I was brushing Hershey while thinking about it. "Did I started it?" I feel anxious and conscience crept me.

"We don't know what's the answer about that Woobyul. But I think you're the one who can fix them. Your twin was defending you."

"That's why they did had a fight." I let out a sigh. "Because Woobin defended me." Few seconds later, a car parked in front of our house so I stood up to check it out. "I gotta go Haknyeon." I smiled bitterly.

I continued walking until I get in front of our house. Sunwoo and Giwook came out from the car.

"Good morning Woobyul. How are you?" Sunwoo greeted.

"You've been absent for two day and we missed you." Giwook pouted.

"I'm fine." I simply answered. "Why are you here by the way?"

They did not gave any answers until Woobin came out from the door. "You wanna come?" Giwook asked.

"Why would I?" I asked him back.

Woobin stopped beside me and turned to me. "Just come with us, I guess that'll be better."

"What do you mean?"

"You've been absent for two days I think you should get out. I'll get you a coat." He said and went back.

"Come on Woobyul it'll be fun!"

We're at a basketball field and I was just sitting on the bench.

"Where's the fun?"

Giwook was shooting the ball with one hand. "Just for a sec Woobyul."

I just look around the big field. "Is this the fun you're talking about? Giwook is just shooting that goddmn ball!" I complained.

"HERE'S THE FUN!" I heard Sunwoo's voice which caught my attention. It's Winter walking from a far.

I turned to Woobin who stood up with a serious look. Are you they gonna fight? I both look at them. Giwook stopped from shooting the ball and threw it to Woobin.

"Ready to have fun Woobyul." Sunwoo said and stood up.

Are they gonna hit Winter with the ball or something? I stood up and followed them. I observed them as they did not gave any statement and just look at each other's eyes. As they were already in between, they just frozed.

Woobin threw the ball on him and Winter did catch it.

Winter starts to dribble the ball and they started playing. I let out a sigh in frustration.

'Was I even too berk to think about them fighting? Of course they had I fight!' I argued with myself. "Woobyul you're such a complete berk!"

"Jeong Woobyul!" Woobin called. I just went near to them. "Winter has something to say."

"What is it?"

Winter look at me still holding the ball. "I just wanted to apologize. About what I told you."

I turned to Woobin. "You didn't force him apologize right?" Sunwoo and Giwook both chuckled.

"Why would I?" He asked in annoyance.

"I was just being sure." I turned to Winter. "It's alright. If you truly apologize then just forget it."

"But we still have a problem." Giwook commented.

"Should we really tell her?" Sunwoo asked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's Yeji. She's still spreading it, and... Didn't Haknyeon told you that she put shame on him yesterday? She even mentioned about Castle J-" I cut Giwook's sentence.

"Castle J? What did he did something to Haknyeon?" I asked.

"I don't know. I think not yet." Sunwoo answered.

I turned to Woobin. "I thought Hanlim is a clean school?"

"Yes it is Woobyul. They just do it outside from the school. Hanlim is a great school with a great talented students. We can't just avoid things like that. But things does happens outside and secretly. We never wanted to ruin the school." Sunwoo stated.

"Everything happens outside from the school Woobyul." Winter added.

"What about the posts?" I asked.

"It's in our school community. Only Hanlim students were the members of that social media community." Giwook answered.

"And if you're already out from the school that means you're already kicked out from that community." Sunwoo added.

"You know what guys let's just face that problem when we're in School. Let's just have fun!" Giwook said shooting the ball. Sunwoo and Woobin joined me and I'm left with Winter.

"Seriously Woobyul. I wanted to apologize about what I told you last Wednesday. I blamed you instead of blaming myself." We both sat on the bench.

"I don't know who's the root of the problem but all I can say is we both did a mistake. I should've shut up when Yeji came."

Winter put his hand to mind. "I should thank you for doing that. Sunwoo was right I'm still into Yeji even though I know that she did cheated on me with Seongjun. That did slap me from the reality that I should let go."

I just smiled bitterly.

"YEOROBON!" Giwook yelled.

"WHAT?" We yelled back.

"Yeji reportedly transferred to SOPA!" Giwook said.

"Are you even sure about that Giwook?" I asked.

"Well yes!" He sit in the bench with us and Woobin and Sunwoo walk towards us. "Her friend did added an IG story about Yeji buying a uniform from SOPA and saying 'Goodbye' and 'We will miss you!' so that means she's transfering."

I look at Winter who's speechless. "I think that'll be better." I stated.

"But we ain't sure about what's gonna happen. She just transferred. She can move outside." Giwook stated.

"I know."

As the stars shines in the night sky, I came to think into so many things.

Saying sorry is the easiest way to apologize to people you hurt. But is it easy to do such actions that expresses your sincere apologies?

I turned to my brother.
