Jungkook pedals to the hill the next morning with eagerness pumping in his veins. He's brought with him a duffel bag he had searched Aunt Jane's attic for; it contains the empty notebook he had spent his entire night filling up with his sketches and memories, and a bunch of pencils he found within his room's side table's drawers. There are also a few books he had collected from his rummaging and mouldy movie posters; he had figured Taehyung would appreciate their novelty.

He had fallen asleep at around six in the morning after the exhausting yet fulfilling ritual of drawing at the crack of dawn, and had been roused back into reality with Aunt Jane urgently knocking on his room's door at noon and successfully coaxing him out with the promise of fried chicken and a can of diet soda. He hadn't planned on doing much that day, but one glance on the clock that read three-thirty had fully woken him up and pushed him to take out his bicycle and race to the hill to meet up with Taehyung.

When the wheels of his bike ride up the incline, he pushes his feet down harder on the pedals. On his first few weeks here, his shins had ached terribly, but they had eventually grown accustomed to the challenge and had adjusted to it. Once he's only a few feet away from the top, his eyes spot Taehyung napping by the tree, with a Game Boy console resting on his belly. Upon reaching the peak and setting his bike down to make his way next to Taehyung, Jungkook sees the screen flashing with an end screen for a game of Tetris. Jungkook releases a hushed chuckle and takes the Game Boy in his hands.

"Scrub," he utters fondly, eyes scanning the comically low score on the screen. His amused stare shifts to Taehyung, who remains completely still in his slumber. Jungkook nudges Taehyung's side with a foot. "Hey. Wake up. Hey."

"No." Taehyung mutters, turning on his side; his back now faces Jungkook. Jungkook rolls his eyes. "I'll kick you down this hill if you don't get off your ass." "You won't do that."

"How'd'ya know that?"

"You love me too much to do that."

"I don't love. Now wake up."

"No."

"I'll chuck this Game Boy at your face."

Taehyung immediately springs to his feet and snatches his Game Boy away from Jungkook. "How could you even imagine doing that? That's a sin against our Lord."

"You don't believe in that Lord," Jungkook counters. "You suck at Tetris, too."

Taehyung furrows his brows. "I like it, though. Want to play?" He holds out the console to Jungkook.

Jungkook is tempted to accept the offer; even though the Game Boy isn't the same as a good afternoon at Pixel Park back at the city, it's still a video game. If there's one thing he truly misses from the city, it's the thrill that comes with vicariously fighting demons and cops in front of a screen. But then, he remembers the duffel bag slung across his body, with the notebook waiting inside, and he shakes his head from side to side to refuse Taehyung's offer.

"I actually... wanted to show you something," Jungkook murmurs, suddenly timid. "Let's sit."

Taehyung blinks and tilts his head to the side, but follows Jungkook as the boy settles onto the grass. "What'ya got there, City Jungkook? Drugs? Cigarettes? Playboy magazines?"

"Shut up!" Jungkook opens the bag and purposely elbows Taehyung in the middle of doing so. He takes out the notebook and places it on Taehyung's lap. "There. Take a look."

"Is this your confession letter to me?"

"Tae."

"No, really."
