*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

"shut up!" I shouted opening my eyes and turning off my alarm.

8:03am. Joy. There was a soft knock at my door followed by my mother entering

"ready to go?" She asked quietly.

I laughed and jumped out of bed "if I want too be called a clown then yes" I replied as we both started laughing.

I loved my mom, we were best friends. I could tell her anything and she'd understand but lately she's been so stressed that she's been pissy. She left the room and I got dressed in dark ripped jeans and a baby pink tank top with a grey cardigan. I curled my hair so it fell in little ringlets down my back.

I rushed down the stairs with my hello kitty suitcases "im ready mom!" I shouted smiling.

She turned her head and nodded "okay meet me at the car" she replied.

I opened the door, the morning breezy filling my nose, I headed towards the black Range Rover. I left my bags by the trunk and leaned on the Range Rover tilting my head back and resting it on the window, I'm scared. I'm scared of the teachers I was going to meet. I'm scared of the bitchy preps. I'm scared..I'm scared of falling in love.

My mom walked up "wanna hit up starbucks on the way?" She questioned opening the drivers door.

I lifted my head and nodded "definitely."

We finally arrived at a big white brick building with a black iron gate surrounding it all. It was scary. It looked like an insane asylum for kids. I took a deep breath, clinging my Starbucks to my chest and grabbing my Iphone 5 from the dashboard, I opened the car door. Fresh air filled my nose and instantly I felt better. Although in the back of my head a voice reminded me that my life is over once I pass through these gates.

I bit my lip and walked over too my mom taking my bags from her.

"well this is it." She said quietly, her eyes filling with tears.

I closed my eyes for a second looking down at the ground, "i love you" I whispered quietly, kissing my mother on the cheek and giving her a tight hug.

Today would be the last time I'll see her till about late December. It was only September.

"Jessica Spence. Grade Eleven." I said before the red haired lady had a moment to speak.

"You must know the routine seeing as though you knew exactly what I was going to say" she responded pushing her square glasses farther up her nose.

I nodded "cut the chit-chat I need my schedule, dorm number, and dorm key." I replied sternly.

The lady froze "look Missy, you better watch your attitude. We aren't going to take it at this school."

I bit my lip "I'm sorry. It's just, I've been too over 15 schools I don't really want to do this right now" I responded.

The lady nodded "okay, well here's your schedule and dorm key" she said passing me a slip of paper and a small silver key "your dorm number is 126."

I opened the door,

"well uh hey" said a blonde girl "I'm Rylie."

I smiled "I'm Jessica. Call me Jessie." I said.

Rylie smiled "your bed's over there. If you want too get settled, meet some new friends and get a tour we can" she responded pointing to the left side of the room.

"I think i'll be alright, but thank you." I replied placing my suitcases on the un-made bed and opening them. Clothes, bedding, shoes, hair utensils, phone charger, and decorations. I made my bed, placed pictures around my side of the room and on the walls.

"Hey Rylie. About that tour and stuff, did you still want too do that?" I asked quietly.

"Yes! Most definitely!" She replied jumping with joy.
