Allison's condition still remains as it has before. It's not improving nor is it dissolving, it's just staying stable. It is frustrating to see that I'm not getting anywhere in this, that I am second guessing myself. I'm not going to give up, I just gotta find a way to get the black blood out without putting my daughter at high risk of dying before I could get the venom working through her veins.

I need to think about what to do next.

Carlisle sighed, what could he do? Dion was still doing research on the black blood, by the time he gets the results, it may be too late. He looked at Caius, who was sitting in a chair beside Allison, staring at her. Carlisle knew that all of the kings wanted to beside her but he couldn't have that. As horrible as that may sound, anything could go wrong, the last thing he would want is the kings to see it.

There were so many things Carlisle wanted to do that he couldn't. He wished he could go back in time to stop all of this from happening, he really wished that he could do that.

He wondered how much longer would his daughter be in this situation. The race against time was horrible, frightening, but the one huge issue is that he doesn't know how much time he has left to bring her back.

"Caius," he said the blonde king's name. Caius looked up, his eyes were red and full of emotion. "Bite her."

"W-what?"

"Maybe an actual bite would cause a reaction from her." Carlisle rubbed his face with his hands. Caius didn't question and did what Carlisle asked him to do. Caius bit Allison up and down her arms, and both sides of her neck. Both

watched intensely for a response from Allison; at first, they thought of nothing until they noticed that there was an actual response. A small one but still, they would take anything. Allison's body went tense before going back into it's relax state.

"What does this mean?" Caius asked as he looked at Carlisle.

Carlisle gave the king a small smile. "It means we're on the right track."

After Dean went into detail, explaining what Allison had to do while trying to get Jack out of Hell, Allison felt a sudden sharp pain as if something bit her. It came out of nowhere; she didn't notice that Castiel, Gabriel and Sam had noticed her jump a bit in pain. Rowena came back to the table with her book, and several ingredients that she needed for the spell. While she mixed the ingredients all together, she was reading off the book in some old language. The ingredients that Rowena had mixed together in a bowl started to smoke, before it went POOF and a thin, bright purple light appeared.

"What's that?" Allison asked.

"That, my dear," Rowena started, "is the portal."

"So... I just touch it and I'm in Hell?"

"You'll be able to slip through," Sam jumped in. "You know, you don't have to do this."

Allison offered him a smile. "I keep my promises." She extended her hand out towards the purple light, as soon as she touched it, there was a flash and she was gone.

When Edward had gotten back to the house, he explained to Carlisle that he met with Paul and talked to him. He also mentioned that Paul didn't want to tell the pack nor Leah what was going on with Seth, but he believed the wolf would be popping in. Edward brought up the concern with the Volturi and the Denali coven being here when Paul shows up, Carlisle assured him it would not be an issue. The Denali coven, including Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, and Alice were joining the Volturi guards in tracking down the Romanians. It was pointless now because their scent was hidden but waiting for the unknown of Allison's future was driving everyone on edge.

Edward looked at the clock, it was now ten to three. The kings and Felix were sitting with Allison, Carlisle and Esme was with Seth while everyone else was out. Edward could hear Paul's thought before he heard him walking up the stairs to the front door. Edward rushed to the front door in a blur, opening it before Paul had the chance to knock. Edward wished that he ran into someone else rather than Paul- he was the least favourite wolf Edward liked.

Edward moved to the side to let Paul in. Paul looked around, he never been inside the Cullen's residence. "How many more vampires are here?"

Edward shot him a glare, though he didn't comment on Paul's question. "Seth is this way." He led the wolf up the stairs to a spare bedroom where they were keeping Seth in. Carlisle and Esme were finishing up checking in on Seth.

Carlisle and Esme looked up to see Edward and Paul, standing in the doorway. Esme gathered everything and left the room, good chance she was going to check on Allison now.

Edward entered the room, he went to go stand beside Seth's bed. Paul slowly made his way in, Edward could see the emotion in his eyes even though he tried to hide it on his face.

"He's going to be fine," Carlisle said. "He has vampire venom running through his veins, I'm not sure if he would become a hybrid when he wakes up or would the wolf DNA destroy it completely."

Paul stared at Seth. "Never heard of a hybrid."

"Neither have we," Edward jumped in.

Paul sniffed the air. "Is that...is that sick smell coming from him?"

Edward watched as Carlisle sadly shook his head. "That is coming from Allison. We don't know if she will make it or not; her blood is black which is effecting the venom."

Paul looked at Carlisle then to Edward and back to Carlisle. "Black blood? " The two Cullens gave him a nod. "Well, I can't tell Leah or the pack about Seth, not until he wakes up." When Edward went to open his mouth to say something, Paul continued on, "Look, I like the kid, but saying something now would do more harm than good. If I go to Sam, and say Seth is a hybrid, Seth is dead. Plus, I don't want to give Leah false hope."

Carlisle nods. "I understand. You are welcome to stay and sit with him."

Paul gave a nod. "As much as I would like to, I gotta meet up with the pack soon." Paul gave one last look at Seth and turned on his heel, before he left the room, he looked back at Carlisle and Edward. "Allison's tough. She'll pull through." With that, he left.

Edward let out a sigh. "That went better than I expected."

"Sometimes people need to see it to believe it," Carlisle gave him a small smile.

Edward grabbed a chair and put it beside Seth's bed, he sat down, crossing his legs. "I'll stay with him." Carlisle nodded, leaving the room. Edward remembered first meeting Seth and finding out he was a shapeshifter; Allison was extremely happy to finally have a friend that she didn't have to lie to about what her family is, nor worry about having to cut them off if they moved. Edward closed his eyes, listening to Seth's heartbeat, it was starting to slow down, which meant the venom is working. Soon everyone would get their answer to the main question for Seth: is he a hybrid or not?
