Her aunt grabbed her arms tightly, surrounded by crowds who shouted excitedly for a magician, though Felisha was not sure of who it was. The aunt and the 14-year-old girl sighed in victory, finally escaping from the fat mob and hoped it would not happen inside the hotel -they both needed a quick rest after a long flight from Hawaii. The good news was: the inside was not crowded as much as the outside, especially the dessert buffet (or was told by the hotel guys). The bad news: a group of kids, supervised by a grandpa who wore a white coat of that of a scientist ruined the moment, shouting and screaming with no respect.
Jessica went over to the concierges who wore a hotel uniform painted with red and white dots, popped with a blink of golden buttons each 2 cm apart. The hotel was filled with expensive-looking stuff; an ancient gold elephant sculpture with half of its legs flying in the air, a small water fountain with even more gold colors on it shone a cupid with its love bow at the center and an infinite chandelier on the ceiling holding a heavy-looking ring which if Felisha was to hold on to it she would have died before fulfilling her dream of becoming a musician.
The concierges apologized for the discomfort when announced their difficulty in relation with the guests. Despite their tiredness, the aunt politely thanked them for the notice. Volitionless, they decided to visit the buffet to famish their hunger.
Felisha, with her sharp eyes, once again noticed the annoying group of kids she saw in the lobby. She could not stop to think to herself of why kids are like kids, then again she used to be their age.
Even after ordering hers and her aunts' food Felisha rudely stared at the group of kids with obvious irritation on her face. One of the fat kids ate his full-plated dessert happily and was disturbed when a toy helicopter landed on his cake. she chuckled at his misfortune and was noticed by aunt Jessica who, in return, scowled at her for her unwise behavior at the age of fourteen.
Later on, the courier assigned them their hotel room once all was managed. It was obvious the person is in a tight spot so the barely blood-related family could not help but wonder if he was fairly well.
Felisha woke up to the sound of the rustling of wind from outside the window. For her sensitive ears born from violin practice, she would wake up from even the flimsiest noise. Ignoring how tired she was she left her room, grabbing the spare key before leaving, to grab a bottle of milk in the vendor from just in front of the playroom.
She is a fourteen-year-old girl with sensitive ears and now she has severe tension about what will happen.
