Author's Note: This chapter will be about the progress of Robot Dog and it might be short and I apologize for that.

Lily POV:

I reached the elevator and pressed the floor where I assume Michael would be at or where his lab is located at. I wanted to see his progress on the robot so far. While I wait for it the doors to open I decide to text Michael to see if he was okay with me coming (especially with an incident that happened recently.)

Michael is it okay for me to come to your lab to check the progress of that robot of yours?

Michael ♡ ᵀᵒᵈᵃʸ ᵃᵗ ²⠘⁰⁰ ᵃᵐ
I'm fine with it! I also want to tell you my ideas with it.

I'll be looking forward to it!

As soon as I replied/send it the elevator door opened. I walked out the door and looked at the door that lead to Michael's lab, it had caution tape on it and around it showing you should knock just in case. I continue walking and I soon reach the door and knocked. After I knocked I heard Michael yell "Come in!" and I open the door and closed the door immediately. I see Michael kneeling down and fixing the robot that looked more better than last time next to Michael was his tools that he uses to make his inventions.

Surprisingly Michael didn't hear me close the door violently but he soon does realize I was there and he looks at me and starts telling me to come closer and check the robot with him, I accept his offer and I walked over and sat down next to him.

"So what do you think about it so far?" He asks me.

"I think it's going alright." I said while nodding. Once I replied he smiled. "Why does it have four legs though?" I ask.

"Oh!" He says. "I was gonna make it represent a dog."

"That's cute." I thought to myself.
I had a question that came to my head immediately after I had finished thinking my previous thought and I was going to ask Michael and await his answer.

"So his name?" I ask.

I assume that Michael forgot to give it a name especially since his expression flashed to a shocking expression to his previous expression. Though it was seconds since any of us spoke, I could tell Michael knew I was going to get impatient so he replied soon after.

"I didn't really plan a name or anything for it." He replies. 

Honestly I feel like Michael knew what my face was going to look like and what I would've replied with. Because he was looking at me waiting for a response.

"That's rude-" I reply, while Michael knows what I would have said. "I know."

"Um," Michael says as he looks back at the robot while trying to show he was thinking. We stayed quiet for another 10 second till he answered. "Maybe Robot Dog?"

"Robot Dog?"  I say confusingly.

"Yes, Robot Dog." He says to confirm his answer.

"That's plain." I say.
Michael immediately looks at me and gave me a smile.

"Well it's my invention so..." He tells me in a sassy tone.

"Okay, okay.." I say, after I replied he went back to work on the 'Robot Dog'. "So what are you working on exactly." I ask. Though he doesn't look at me he does reply.

"Oh well.." He starts talking. "I'm trying to make it walk whenever I ask it to but it usually stops midway to its destination."

We both were silent while he was fixing the robot/Robot Dog though I didn't want him to be doing all the work and I have to just watch him.

"Do you want me to help?" I ask.

"You sure?" He asks to make sure that I was sure on my decision.

"Yeah, I don't have anything to do anyways." I tell him.

For the rest of the time, Me and Michael were working on the robot he was usually doing most of the work but I still was helping. I was serving as his assistant for the time being. I'm guessing we were too focused to notice that it was getting dark out, but as soon as we did we decided to go back home to get some rest.

Author's Note: I didn't know how to end this chapter so here is a poorly written ending to this chapter. The next chapter will be recruitment and I will be watching the anime then missions and finally have the others join.
