-The next day, Sophie's mom drove Sophie and Peter to the park for some fresh air. With Peter's mom's approval of course. Although, despite this being a coincidence, Peter decided to use this as an opportunity to try and get to know Sophie a bit more. Although they've known each for years now, Peter was still trying to process the news that his best friend was actually a girl.

-Which wasn't an issue, it was just....so shocking to him. But nevertheless, he made it up in his mind that he wouldn't let something as silly as gender ruin their friendship.

*At last, Sophie's mom arrived at the park. It did seem like a long drive, but only because Sophie and Peter were kind of quiet the whole drive. They couldn't really think about much to talk about at the time. Sophie's mom then got out of the car to go to the back to open the car door for the kids. Sophie and Peter that they were at the park already.

Peter:"Oh! Wait. We're at the park already?! Man, time really does fly, doesn't it?" Peter said undoing his seat belt.

Sophie:"Hmm. I guess we let time get away from us." She told him while taking off her seat belt as well.

*Sophie and Peter jumped out of the car and ran to go play together and with the other kids.

"Have fun kids! I'll be close by when you're ready to go home, okay?" Shouted Sophie's mom before closing the car door.

"Okay mom! We will!" Shouted Sophie back at her mom.
