Chapter 2|Welcome to chicago

Kentrell

I begged and begged my mom but she wouldn't budge. For the rest of the night while they were downstairs i shut myself in my room and started packing. Early the next morning she woke me up and before i knew it i was in Chicago waiting for some lady to pick me up.

  Soon a car pulled up and the window was rolled down " your kentrell right" she asked

I didn't say anything just nodded and got in the back shutting the door. She smiled looking back at me like she was about to say something. I put my headphones in closing my eyes as the car started. We drove for about thirty minutes before the car stopped, i opened my eyes for one second and then closed them hoping it would go away. The lady got out of the car and opened the door making me almost fall i groaned getting out of the car annoyed.

  The lady smiled " I'm taesha a friend of your moms and you'll be staying here for a while.. Is that okay?" She asked

I looked at her for a second " do i get my own room" i asked looking at her seriously

Taesha nodded " yeah we've had extra space for a while waiting for it to be filled" she said trying to brighten the mood

I nodded looking down the street watching a car go by i feel like i could be in buisness here " dose the door lock?" I asked as she nodded

I smiled walking passed her going into the house, she quickly followed after me smiling " i can show you around if you like" she asked as i shrugged

She showed me all of the rooms down stairs before showing me the kitchen and before i could say anything the door opened.

  Someone started laughing as the door shut " hey ma where are you at" someone asked

Taesha smiled " in here honey come meet sherondas kid" she said

I heard a groan and then footsteps " i thought you were joking" someone said as he walked around the corner

He was tall and darksin he had blonde and black dreads. He looked at me for a second and then up at his mom " you can't be serious" he said

Taesha sighed " no von i wasn't joking now show him to his room" she said

Another voice could be heard from the living room " hey mrs Bennett" he said

Taehsa laughed "hello durk" she said before turning to me " ill leave you to yourself for now" she said

Von rolled his eyes " come on" he said storming out of the kitchen

I grabbed my bag following him as durk im guessing nodded at me. I nodded back as i followed them up the stairs.

  Von stopped right at the beginning of the hallway " rooms down the hallway there's a bathroom in there so dont use ours. Dont come near me or my friends. If you need anything don't knock" he said before walking into his room

Durk sighed looking down at me " welcome to Chicago" he said before following von into the room closing the door

I walked down the hall into the room shutting the door, i set my bag down allowing myself to fall on the bed wanting to scream.

I watched as durk closed the door i didn't like this shit at all and i thought I made it clear to my mom.

  Durk sighed sitting on the bed " you didn't have to be so rude" he said

I rolled my eyes " he didnt have to move into my house with no warning but whatever" I said

Durk laughed shrugging " i mean hes kinda cute" he said

I tried to hold in my smile but i couldnt so i picked up the pillow hitting him with it " shut up" i said rolling my eyes

I did have a plan though one that i wasn't sure would work but Maybe i could get my mom to kick him out.
