I looked down at my side and fell to the ground onto my knees. Jason was gone. Fear soon turned into Panic. I didn't know where Jason was, how was I supposed to even know? I quickly got up and ran over to Starbucks where Justin was. Justin was just sitting there, enjoying a nice cup of coffee. He looked up and was startled, but he looked more scared then startled. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Jason....." I told him. "He's gone!"
"What? No, no, no, no he's not." Justin said. "Yes Justin, he's gone. One minute he's by my side the next he's gone, like that." I said, snapping my fingers. Tears were threatening to spill over the rim of my eye and soon they were falling rapidly. Justin looked shocked and he didn't move for a long time. "No he's not." He kept muttering to himself. "Justin, snap out of it! Jason's gone!" I shouted, making everybody that was drinking their coffee's quickly turn their attention to Justin and I. "He's gone." I whispered quietly. "We have to find him."
I ran out of Starbucks and into every single store looking for Jason. "Jason!" I kept shouting over and over again. People probably thought I was some nut job. But if your 1-year old son just disappeared out of thin-air what would you do? I ran in and out of every single store there. I was desperately trying to find Jason. I wouldn't give up until I did. Justin followed me the whole entire time I was running around trying to find Jason. Soon day turned into night and the mall was about to close and I was still running around searching for Jason and shouting his name. "Babe, please come home." Justin said once one of the police officers told him the mall was going to close in 4 minutes. I ignored him and continued running around while shouting Jason's name. "Fine, we're doing this the hard way." He said, scooping me up into his arms and carrying me bridal style to the car. "Jason." I shouted, quieter this time. "Babe, he's gone. We'll go searching for him tomorrow." Justin reassured me. We arrived at the car and I slipped into my seat quietly. On the car ride I stayed silent and looked out the car window. "Everything's gonna be alright." Justin told me, squeezing my knee. "No, it's not. Justin don't lie and tell me everything's gonna be alright." I replied. "Our son is out there, somewhere, and we don't know where the hell he is!"
"You're right." He said, pulling into the driveway of our mansion. I sighed and ran my fingers through my waist-length brown hair. Justin parked the car in the garage and I quickly got out, opened the door, and ran inside. I ran all the way up the spiral glass stairs, into the room that Justin and I share, and plopped down on it face-first. I rolled onto my back and stared up at the ceiling. "Jason, wherever you are, I hope you're safe."
I heard footsteps walk up the spiral glass staircase and soon they approached the bedroom and then I felt the edge of the king-size bed sink.

Crystal got out of the car as quickly as possible, flung open the door, and ran inside the mansion. Yes, I missed Jason and yes, I'm still shocked of what just happened. I got out of the car and stood by the passenger's car door. My ringtone started playing, signaling that someone was calling. "Hello?" I asked, pressing the phone to my ear. "Hello." A raspy cold voice said.
"We're guessing you're looking for your son?"
"How did you know that my son is missing?" I asked. "Wait, I got a better question, who the fuck are you?"
"Can't tell you that." The voice said. "How do you have my fucking number?" I asked. "Don't ask questions." The voice growled. "You want your son to stay alive? Then I suggest you shut the fuck up and listen to what I have to say."
My jaw tightened and I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat. "We have your son with us. Somewhere you don't know. And the only way to receive him back is by paying $300,000."
"Where the fuck is he!! But more importantly, who the fuck are you!! And how the hell do you have my fucking number!! Just tell me where the fuck my son is or I'm gonna call the fucking cops!!" I shouted, banging the hood of the car. "Didn't I tell you NOT to ask questions?"
"Just let me speak to my son." I demanded. "Fine."
"Daddy?" Jason's voice asked nervously.
