"It's your parents." Amy said. "What about my parents?" I asked. "They got in a car crash." "What?" I dropped my IPhone and it fell with a thud on the picnic blanket. "Crystal, what's wrong?" Justin asked, his hand immediately going to my cheek, caressing it. "Justin." I managed to get out. "My parents got in a car crash." Justin's eyes widened. "Hello? Crystal?" Amy yelled in my phone. I picked up my phone and pressed it to my ear. "Where, when, how?" I asked. "They got in a car crash while driving back home and then a drunk driver hit them." Amy replied. "What hospital are they in?" I asked. "Where are you?" Amy asked. "At the beach with Justin." I replied. "Okay then 5 minutes away from where you are." Amy said. "I'm going there now." I replied. I ended the call and shoved my phone back in my pocket. I stood up and started walking away. Justin ran up to me and intertwined his fingers with mine. I stopped and looked at him. I burst into tears right then and there. Justin let go of my hand and wrapped his arms around my body and let me cry. He picked me up and carried me bridal style to the car while the tears kept falling from my eyes rapidly. We drove to the hospital and I literally ran to my parent's hospital room with Justin. I flung open their room door and held back the tears when I saw what was in front of me. There they were tubes here and there. They each had a breathing mask on them to help them breath. They had bandages on them, they had them every where actually. "Mom, dad?" I asked, walking up to them. "Hi sweetheart." My dad wheezed. "Dad, are you and mom gonna make it?" I asked. "I don't think so pumpkin." He replied. "No!! Dad no please tell me you're pranking me and that there's a camera videotaping me and then someone's gonna jump out and yell, 'you've been punk'd.'"
I said. He chuckled a little. "Pumpkin promise me that you'll take good care of yourself." He said. "Dad, please don't." I replied. "I'm sorry but it' god's choice." He said. "Well why does he have to do this?" I asked, the tears daring to escape my eyes. "Nobody knows only god does." He replied. "Can I talk to Justin?" He asked. I nodded before giving my dad a kiss on his cheek. "Dad , I love you." I said, the tears falling over the rim of my eye. "I love you too sweetie."
~~~~Justin's P.O.V.~~~~
I watched as Crystal walked over to her mom before bursting into tears beside her. Crystal's dad motioned for me to come to him. I walked over to him. "Justin, my boy, me and Mrs. Valentine won't make it, so please take good care of my daughter. And one day you guys can get married." He said, chuckling a little. "I promise Mr. Valentine, I'll, take good care of your daughter because I love her." I replied. He smiled at my response. "Who would've known that my daughter would actually date the guy that she talks about all the time 24/7." He chuckled. "I trust you." Were the last words he said, before he and Crystal's mom died.
