Character Plot & Main Characters Analysis

Kim Tan is the future heir to the Jeguk (meaning "Empire") Group. Though hot-headed and at times immature, Kim Tan is warm-hearted and honest. He does not have a good relationship with his father and half-brother, the latter from whom he constantly seeks friendship (but who doesn't reciprocate). He is actually the son of his father's mistress, but is listed in the family registry as the son of his father's second wife in order to be a legitimate heir. Prior to returning to Korea, he was exiled by his brother to study abroad in the U.S. Although he is engaged to Rachel Yoo, he is attracted to Cha Eun-sang at first sight and falls in love with her despite her poor background.

Cha Eun Sang is teh Daughter of a blind cleaning lady at Kim Tan's house. Unlike her ordinary friends, Eun Sang spends her weekends working at her part time jobs. She hides her poor identity and goes to the Jeaguk highschool to study under the sponsor of Tan's father. She falls in love with Tan later on in the plot as he cares for her. However there are many obstacles between her and Tan that she has to overcome.

Choi young dois the Heir to Hotel Zeus. Young do was smart. He just didn't use his smart brain on schoolwork but on how to torture his friends. Young do and Kim Tan were very good friends at first but become enemies. As they fight over Cha Eun Sang, their relationship becomes worse. He does not know how to express his feelings well and gets rejected by Cha Eun Sang. No one knows what he would do next.

Yoo Rahel is the Heir to RS International. She is always the smartest in her class and has a very haughty character. She secretly likes Tan, although it breaks her pride to show it. She tries to interfere between Cha Eun Sang and Kim Tan. She is forced to do whatever her mother tells her to do, which is always not the thing she wants. She has some conflict with Cha Eun Sang.
