After taking multiple pictures with the "valley girls" who are way too loud, I grab a hoodie and a pair of grey sweats. I look for the dressing rooms, which are right next to the ladies' room, where Kylie stands. There's a dark look in her eyes as she glares at something behind me. I can still feel their eyes on me and hear their high-pitched giggles, so that's what's wrong.
"Jealous?" I grin as I walk into one of the vacant dressing rooms. I hear her scoff only enlarging my grin as I strip off my clothes. I put on the sweatpants then I slip the hoodie over my head, messing up my hair. Speaking of, I need a haircut. I walk back out and walk to the restrooms, washing off the red stains on my face.
When I walk out again, I see Kylie reaching for her gun as she walks to the register. I shake my head and jog over to her, wrapping my arm around her waist tightly, stopping her from pulling it out. "Don't get us caught there are cameras everywhere." I whisper-yell into her ear. Not only cameras but surrounded by fans. She shoots me a glare as I drop a hundred-dollar bill on the counter.
I can feel the dirty looks we get from the teenage girls, mostly whispering "who is she?" or "I wish I was in her spot."
I slip on a pair of sunglasses over my eyes and Kylie's, to stop getting recognized so much, even though it's still dark out. It's barely morning and we haven't gotten any sleep. I don't think we can from the news we just found out.
"You're staying at my place," I say as we continue to walk down the sidewalk with my arm still wrapped around her tightly. "What?" She hisses and I shrug. "I can't trust you to go home, you are going to ruin everything because you're too reckless," I say nonchalantly, tightening my grip around her knowing she's going to lash out.
"Excuse me?" She stops in her tracks and turns to face me. Here we go. "I'm the reckless one?! You are!" She accuses and I cross my arm, leaning back against the brick wall behind me. "Oh yeah, I'm a walking celebrity who happens to be a murderer and still haven't gotten caught, super reckless." I lower my voice so no one could eavesdrop on our conversation. Her hands turn into fists and she clenches her jaw. I don't have time for this.
I put my arm back around her and she doesn't move. "Come one, you can take your anger out in bed." I joke and push her along to walk.
We show up at my house and I do the security tests, placing my hand on the scanner so it scans my hand, and then my eye. Kylie gives me a weird look. "What?" I shoot at her and she just shrugs, looking up at the house. I wait impatiently as I open the door for her to walk in.
She goes in and I walk in after her. "You live in here alone?" She asks and I nod locking the door. "Unless you count my one-night stands." I grin and she rolls her eyes. "What about your bandmates?" She says roaming around the living room, I can tell she's agitated.
"They have their own place," I say walking up behind her so my chest is against her back. I put my hands on her shoulders, massaging them a bit and she relaxes instantly. "Try getting some sleep. We have a long week ahead of us." I say and she nods, turning around to face me but doesn't move so I raise my brow.
"I don't know where the bedroom is?-" She says. "Right." I spin on my heels and walk up the stairs, swinging open the second door to the right, also my room. She goes in and I follow in after her. "No go to a different room, you have many." She says defensively and I roll my eyes. "Just shut up and enjoy this," I say laying down into the heavenly sheets.
