I groan at the phone when I realize she won't answer my calls or texts. I'm still in my car, one street away from her house, but close enough to see the house. Luckily I don't have to be worried about getting caught by her mother because the car windows are tinted.

I send one last text that goes on delivered for about 10 minutes. Screw it, I'm going in. I don't even know why I would consider doing this, much less why I actually am doing this. I shouldn't care if she thinks that I think she's a slut, I mean is she not, her mom owns a damn strip club.

I get out of my car, slamming the door. I put my hood up to cover my face from any wandering strangers and make my way to the house. Some lights are on in the house, but getting past security might be tricky.

I look around the perimeter of the house and at the guard shack outside the house. I peer inside the window to see a girl in her maybe mid 20's. She has her head buried in a magazine with her legs up on the desk, with a cup of coffee in her hand. Perfect. I walk to the front window and tap on it softly with my knuckles. The girl lifts her head from her magazine and her eyes meet mine. her eyes widen instantly and she spits out the coffee she had in her mouth, a typical reaction.

I put on a charming smile and wave at her. She slides the glass window open with her jaw ajar.

"Hey, there I'm here to see...Ms. Schueyler." I say nicely.

"Holy shit your Jake from the band-"

"Yes I am, now if you could let me in that would be very helpful."

"Oh uhm let me just notify her-"

"No need, it's a surprise." I wink at her and she nods quickly, clicking a few buttons on her panel, opening the gate to the house.

I thank her and make my way inside. I look up at the house and see which window would most likely be Kylie's. I see a window with the lights on on the left side of the house, I can see a girl's hair flowing down her hunched back. There she is.

I look around and grab a ladder nearby, what a coincidence. I set it against the wall and climb up it carefully. Once I'm at the top, I knock on her window. She turns around quickly, obviously startled. Once she sees me, her eyes turn into a fury of anger. She opens the window and I take off the safety net.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" She whispers angrily, trying not to draw attention to us.

"Climbing into your window," I say nonchalantly, pushing her aside and crawling in. As she closes the window up, I lay on her bed beside her laptop that's paused on a Netflix show. She stands in front of me with her arms crossed.

"Can't you take the hint? I'm ignoring you."

"Oh, but I missed you so much!" I tease. "And you wouldn't be talking to me if you were ignoring me." I roll my eyes, grabbing her hand and pulling her to me. She falls over me, her head against my chest and our legs tangled.

"What the-" She starts but I shush her and unpause the series. She stays stiff for a bit, so do I.

"Have you ever done this?" I whisper after a bit and she shakes her head. "Me neither." I wrap my arms around her, this is new to both of us, a first for us both.

"My mom might come in." She says after a while.

"I'll leave before then, for now just relax."
