I smile at the customers, and head to the back of the kitchen.
I feel a little dizzy, but I ignore it, continuing to cook.
Shin, who is pregnant, seems irritable, but still concerns over me.
"Huan Li, are you okay?"
I nod, and smile, before stumbling to the floor, throwing up. The comity splatters on my robes and the floor, and my stomach hurts.
"Someone go get Xiao Feng!" Kang Liu yells. "Get the doctor!"
I'm put into the small guest room above the restaurant, a cool cloth pressed against my forehead.

Xiao Feng PoV
I am filing paperwork when I hear a commotion outside. I exit to see guards trying to stop a commoner ger from entering.
"What is going on here?!" I demand.
"General!" The man yells. "Its Huan Li! He collapsed at the restaurant!"
Panic fills my whole being, and I immedialtey begin to run, without the carriage to the restaurant.

Normal POV
I feel normal besides the stomach pains.
The door bursts open and a sweaty Xiao Feng runs in, kneeling at my bedside.
"Huan Li, what's wrong."
I smile. The news will make him happy.
"Dont worry husband, we are both fine." I smile.
"Okay that's amazing.." he freezes. "What did you say?"
I look around, acting innocent.
"Are you?" He asks, trailing off. 
I smile cheekily and nod.
He smiles and cheers, tears leaking from his blue eyes. 
"We are gonna have a child!" He cheers, kissing me all over my face.
I laugh happily. I was right. I had a happy life here.

The next few months were painful. Xiao Feng didnt let me do anything, and called off his duties for now. Nothing too intimate happened, well kind of. No penetration happened. So still a lot happened.
I was extremely moody, and I had a small bump.
"Wife, there is a ball today." He says. "We must attend, emperors orders.
I nod, and I am helped into a pink robe, which symbolizes pregnancy of a ger.
We arrive at the ball, and everyone congratulates us, even the emperor himself.
Jiang Wu approaches.
"Congratulations." He bows, staring at me in disdain.
He leaves, heading away. No matter how much I feel his dislike for me, I also cant tell I wont be seeing him much.

Xiao Feng paces outside the door hearing my yells from inside the room.
Suddenly it stops, and a baby's cry sounds. He enters the room, seeing Huan Li holding their beautiful child.
Li Feng.
As the years go on, they go to be a strong family. Li Feng has gotten his mother's Amber eyes, and his father's midnight black hair. He got his mother's beauty, and his fathers strength. His mother even taught him all the recipes he could.
Despite being an heir for a general business, at 15, he decided to pursue a career of cooking. He was best friends with Han Liu, the son of the restaurant owners. Han Liu was a ger, and I could tell the two like each other. When Xiao Feng and Huan li were old, they finally got to see there son walk down the wedding isle with his wife, Han Li.
But now they were on their deathbed, both were dying. They were holding hands, and there son and son in law was watching with teary eyes.
The life left the both of them.
