"I'm not single. I'm not taken. I'm simply on reserve, for the one who deserves my heart."

-Lucy's P.O.V-

I ran a hand through my dark, thick, curly hair as I sat in the only open seat, between two red headed twins. "Hey beautiful." The one on my left said, winking at me. "I'm Fred." I smirked at "Fred" as the other one said, "I'm George." The one on my right said. I snickered. "So YOURE George," I said pointing to my left and then pointed to my right and said distractedly while picking up a bagel, "And YOURE Fred?" They stared at me, dumbstruck. "How did you know?" Fred asked. I picked up the bagel and started pulling it apart into smaller pieces and dipping it in hot chocolate, "I have two friends that are twin sisters, Sidney and Cameron, and they always try to pull that on me, Nice try though." I added only trying to make them feel better. "Hi. I'm Hermione Granger." A brunette girl with extremely poofy hair said, walking up to me. "Harry. Harry Potter." A boy next to her said. He had jet black hair with glasses and green, blue eyes. "And I'm Ron Weasley." A redhead said on the other side of Hermione, his mouth half full as he was talking. "Nice to meet you." I said, sounding kind of bored. Harry looked more relaxed probably cause i didn't pester him about being the chosen one. I wouldn't blame him, I'm not an attention whore myself. The trio sat in front of us and I picked up a piece of bacon and started nibbling on it as Micky G walked up to me, with a piece of parchment in her hands.
"This is your schedule. I advise you to stick to it and to NOT be late or absent to any of your classes. Today you will get the day off from classes to organize your place in the ladies dormitory." She said sternly. "K." I said, not really paying attention to her. The only words I caught were 'Today you will get the day off'. She glared at me probably knowing that I didn't listen to anything that she had said.
"Good. Now go." She said, leaving. "K." I muttered silently getting up from my seat and attempting to walk to my dorm. Notice I said attempt. My sense of direction is often the exact opposite of where I am supposed to go.

Story time. I may or may not have accidentally walked into a certain dungeon when they may or may not keep man or in this case, woman-eating trolls. Oops. Then, I may or may not have accidentally (again) walked into the Slytherin common room (don't ask me how the hell I guessed the password because I have absolutely no ducking idea. Big oops. They might have chased me out of the room, wand in hand, looking like they wanted to hack my head off with a rusty butter knife and engrave Slytherin's bitch on my forehead. With a hot glue gun.
So after many, many, many, misdirections and one wrong turn into the boys bathroom. (Don't ask me what I saw in there because we shall never speak of it again. Ever), I finally made it to the Gryffindor common room which took about 2 hours, 28 minutes, and 56 seconds. What? I may have a very vague sense of direction but I can count okay? So, I finally got up into the girls dorm and chose the only empty bed which was pushed up next to the wall, alone and basically cut off from the rest of the beds. the curtains surrounding the beds were magically soundproofed so I could sleep (because I am a very light sleeper) if the girls in my dorm were the stereotypical giggling, nail-painting, overly bubbly, roomies. I opened my school bag and levitated my trunk out of it (magical enhancing spell) and magically set up everything around my bed space.
On the walls were muggle and wizard bands. I had a small desk set up near my bed that would act as my work space and was a combination of a desk and a dresser so all of my clothes were in there. It had a small mirror above it because I am not going to waste precious time waiting for it in the girls bathroom in the common room.
And to top it off, my blanket that my adoptive mom, Amanda, had knitted for me. She was very skilled and that blanket had a very detailed picture of a fox. It was my favorite animal.
I checked the time on my alarm clock. It read 4:17, probably a good idea to go to lunch, or dinner. Whatevs. As if on cue, my stomach growled. Quite loudly I might add. "Wow. I'd head to lunch if I were you." I heard a joking, voice remark from the hallway. I turned around and saw a girl about my age standing there. She had blonde hair with the lower half dyed turquoise, she had ocean blue eyes, and a bit of a sarcastic smirk to her. "I guess I probably should. Wouldn't want to starve to death on my first day here." I said back to her hesitantly. Im actually quite shy when it comes to meeting new people. But there was something different about this girl. She looked pretty but not like she tried really hard to. She had a know it all vibe coming from her but not in the obnoxious, I know everything kind of way.
She smiled at me, her ocean eyes twinkling. "I was about to go too. Do you want to come with me? I heard about the slytherins. Can't seem to keep news to themselves can they?" She smirked at me in a teasing way. I snickered. "I can't say that I would want that to happen." I said, walking out of the room. We walked together through the halls chatting. I learned things like her name: Annabeth Chase (A/N I did get that from Percy Jackson but I thought the name was perf, all credit to Rick riordan) The reason she was out of class: No interest, Something I could relate to. We had the same interest in many bands, muggle and wizard world alike. I also discovered she was a pure blood but that her family didn't really like to use magic all that much because it made life too easy sometimes. I get that too. I know people think it would be awesome to have so much money and everything you want in life, but for me, that would get boring. We walked into the great hall and sat next to each other, still talking. I unknowingly sat next to Fred on my other side but didn't really pay attention. Something many people wish that they could do is freeze time. Right here. Right now. No anger, no sorrow, sadness or regret. Just happiness.

Hai,
I wanted Lucy's house to be Slytherin cuz that's what I am in reals but I figured it's so much more convenient (did I even spell that right?) to write it being that her and Freddie are in the same house so yea.
Ciao,
