Hey!
I'm not sure how long it's really been but it's apparently been 3 or 4 months since my last update to this story ._. I'm sorry for being inactive for that long. Not sure if these are, in any way possible, valid reasons explaining this hiatus, but:
-I've been really busy. No, seriously. I planned to first post this story in such a way that it'll overlap with the fourth quarter of the school year which is the most sluggish part of the school year, being the longest and most uneventful. I, however, forgot to consider that I'm in the 3rd year or 9th grade as some of you say.
Now, you'd say 'oh, what's a freshman doing being so busy', but where I live, we only have highschool until the 10th grade (well, at least 'till this year where they implemented the K-12 program), so I'm technically a Junior, which means prom with the seniors (not sure if prom works like that where you come from, but whatever). Tons of stuff to get down. With my friends all being part of the prom comitte, I wanted to help in any way I could. Also, the school year's been cut short for some reason, so everything's more or less squeezed in a lot more.
-Writer's block and generally thoughts of my story having a sub-standard level of quality have been bugging me a lot.
Don't worry, I'm not scrapping this story, I'm just gonna put it on-hold for a while.
I also plan to make the following changes to the characters of 'I Miss Us', so I suggest you reread when the consecutive updates come.
-Xander Carter and Dan Whitfield will be switching places. Xander will be John's childhood bestfriend and 1/4 of the Quadruple Four while Dan will be one of John's kinda new friends he met while starting up with badminton.
-Alex Carter will be renamed to Drew Whitfield, Dan's twin brother. He will still be dating Serena Chambers.
All the other characters will mostly be untouched by these changes, so you just have to really keep an eye out for Xander, Dan, and Drew.
Also, when I get really deep into this story and develop writer's block a-once again, I might start writing and uploading some parts of a new story. It's gonna be called Three Words. The cover will be up by the time this goes up, so watch out.
Again, sorry for the really long wait. It should be a couple of weeks before the consecutive updates.
