"Just hold still," says my mom. I
look at the mirror in front of me and see my mom finishing up putting my long, blonde hair into a braid on the side. It is officially the twelfth year of me being in this world. I just have a really bad feeling about this birthday.
"You look beautiful!" she exclaims.
Well, I don't feel like it.
I wonder how I have so many friends, but no boyfriend.
My mom is FINALLY finished with my braid. When I get up, I go walk to my best friend's house. I see her in her treehouse and yell, "Hey Jocelyn!" She gets out of her treehouse and runs up to me.
"Guess what good news I have!" she says. "What?" I ask her. She says,"My cousin, Evelyn, is staying at my house for the next 5 days!"
Well, that is totally awesome because Evelyn is really nice to everyone.
I tell Jocelyn I have to go, then I run to my house. I make a list of 12 wishes I want to come true.
