Birthday Wish

I realized that night that I wanted to be like her. I understand Gianna now... On how to be strong, how to step up for yourself.

"Why did you do it?"

"She's fine, Gucci! She's in the clinic now!" She sounds so mad and I don't know why.

"I'm sorry for asking too much. I'm just worried." Para sa kaniya.

"You shouldn't do that. Baka mapagalitan ka rin." I said full of worries.

"I just taught her a lesson."

We are in her barracks right now Siya mismo ang gumagamot ng sugat ko. She's also specialized in Medical, I guess. She also treated all my wounds that I got since day one.

"What are you feeling?" She sounds like my mom. Namiss ko tuloy ang mom ko.

But I don't know if my mom misses me too.

"I'm okay!" Kahit na I'm crying, I'm still okay.

"Okay! Don't shouted. Let's just talk, just this time. Why didn't you tell me that you're experiencing something like that?" She asked. "Baka may iba ka pang tinatago?"

I don't know if I can  trust her with that... I just don't want the same scenarios earlier to happened again. But If this the only thing to do, para matigil na ang mga ginagawa sa'kin. Then fine, makikipag-usap ako sa kaniya.

"Wala na, General." So far, wala. Si Glo lang talaga ang may ginagawang malala sa'kin.

"Meet me after your training tomorrow, I'll talk to you again. But after that talk, sana okay ka na." Malamig ang pagkakasabi niya.

I hated it everytime she's getting cold again.

"You're just like your sister. Alam mo ba yon?"

Natawa ako. "I don't think so. She's better than me."

"Parehas kayong matigas ang ulo at hindi nakikinig."

Gianna always hates it when I don't follow all her orders and sa tuwing matigas ang ulo ko... Ganun rin naman pala siya.

"If Gia can see how vulnerable you are. Kung paano mo kinikimkim ang lahat, mapapagalitan ka lang."

I sarcastically laughed.

"I hope my sister will have a second chance in life." My voice softened. I hate her, I really do. I hate her because she left me. She's the only person I got and yet she left."I really missed her, Gen-"

"Yndra. Just Yndra." She sat beside me.

I just smiled.

"Do you know when I was Just like you back then, I'm also the weakest among everyone." Pinasok ni Yndra ang mga hands niya sa kaniyang bulsa. "And I'm thankful that your sister Gia is there. She's my hero, a savior." Natawa siya.

Did she just laugh?

"You're also weak? I don't think so." Yndra is almost perfect for me.

"Yes, weaker than you." Tumingin siya sa mga eyes ko. "But unlike you, I improved myself. I trained so hard."

Bumuntong hininga ako.

"I'll make myself better." This is the only thing I said, not promising that I'll be stronger than her. But promising myself to be better.

"You punched a trainee and you're telling me that it was an accident?!"

"Yes, it is." Yndra stood up with what she believes.
