Chapter 24

They slept in their sleeping bags through the night.Elsa has left the bedroom at six in the morning.Jack and Hiccup left for breakfast an hour later.When Merida peek out when the guys were gone,she took the chance to wake up later on and sleep longer.

After some time,she yawned,stretched out and went for food in her night gown and messy hair."Good morni-"She greeted the servants.

She saw their eyes were wide and surprised.Imagine someone waking up very late in the morning?I wonder if she's a late sleeper and wearing a night gown in the afternoon?A princess with messy hair?

"Good afternoon,Princess Merida!"Elsa called her out.She walked towards Merida."Why are you walking around in the castle with your night gown?Don't you know it's the early afternoon?"Merida rubbed her tired eyes."Early afternoon?Then,where did the guys go?"She asked Elsa.Elsa rolled her eyes."They have eaten their breakfast and lunch so they went to visit the village."

"Oh no!"Merida spoke in despair."You have skipped your breakfast.Now it's time for your lunch now,hurry up.Go and change,"She gave a light push to Merida's back to the bedroom.

Merida went to change to her usual gown."Now that I've skipped breakfast in the morning,I have to eat lunch to replace my breakfast."She went to the castle's dining room to eat lunch.

After she had finished her lunch,she went to look for Elsa.She asked a nearby servant,"May I look for Queen Elsa?"She asked."Sure,go to the castle's garden.It's just outside here,"she pointed to the brown gate at the side of the room.

"Thanks!"She thanked and went straight to the garden."Elsa!Elsa!What are you doing in the garden?"She asked Elsa.

Elsa was holding a homemade basket in her hand and picking up some fresh flowers from the soil ground,smelling them one by one."Merida,there is no need to come here.You can follow the guys instead,unless you are fond of flowers then you can stay and help,"

"Where are the guys?"Merida said."They are coming back soon from their visit to the village.Wait for them in the castle."

"Alright,"Merida went indoors and slumped on a chair she found beside the garden gate."I really hope they will come back fast."

Outside Arendelle's castle,Hiccup and Jack just dropped off Toothless' back."Thanks Toothless for the ride,"Jack gave a light pat on Toothless.

Toothless stood up in his two legs and tried to smile by showing his toothless mouth to Jack."What's he doing?"Jack asked Hiccup."I think he is saying; you are welcome!"Hiccup answered.

"No problem!"Jack gave another light pat to Toothless and the trio were on their way to Arendelle.

They went in the castle when they bumped into Queen Elsa."Guys,where have you been? You have been taking very long in the village."She asked,curious about their activity.

"We did nothing! Really,nothing!"Jack answered sarcastically.Elsa looked upon them and crossed her arms."Are you sure?"

"Ahem!"Merida saw them and interrupted their conversation."Oh hi,Merida!"The guys greeted her."Where have you guys been?"She copied Elsa's question.Now there's no time to buff or lie.Even this curious Merida can really find the truth.Time to tell the truth.

"We did not visit the village instead we went to Berk,my kingdom but it's a long story!Can't we just-"Hiccup told the girls.

"Sit down and continue to explain,"Elsa bought them to the table with chairs.Now Elsa pressured the guys to explain.Hiccup and Jack explained everything clearly.
