"Help...please..." a little girl whimpered, her blood staining the fresh green grass, she begged the archons for mercy and to let her live.

"Are you okay?!" a man yelled

'Do I look okay...?' she thought

The man picked her up carefully and took her to a medic, on the way there the girl passed out from blood loss

"Oi, don't...die on me...!" were the last words she heard before passing out.

"She's awake!" a woman in a white dress yelled, the girl was covered in bandages and had no recollection on what happened.

She could hear the man and the nurse talking outside the room, she tried to get out of the bed but ended up falling on the floor with a thud, the nurse heard the sound and ran inside

"Don't get out of bed, you're still injured" she ordered as she fixed her hospital gown

"Nurse, where're my parents?" the nurse looked up at her then to the man "I only saw her when I passed by the area" he said

"Ah...they were taken away...I see..." the nurse looked back at the girl and asked "Do you know who took away your parents?" the girl shook her head, the nurse sighed and walked out of the room to continue speaking to the man.

The girl rested her back on the bed and closed her eyes

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!!"

her eyes shot open, she held her head in her hands and breathed heavily "who...who was that..." her tears pricked her eyes, she knew who it was but at the same time she doesn't.

Outside the room the nurse and the man was discussing if the girl should be in his custody for now

"Are you sure you can handle the girl? She seems like she has no memories whatsoever"

"I already have a son, I have experience in parenting, yes taking care of a daughter with amnesia will be difficult but I'll do my best"

"I'll have to talk to the Qixing about this whole situation, parents being abducted, girl literally almost dying from blood loss, her being found in the middle of Natianmen of all places. Before this I'll let you take her to your home once she's recovered"

the man smiled "Thank you, I hope my son and her will get along well".

Many weeks later the girl was discharged, her body only being covered by small bandaids and gauzes

"I'd like you to meet someone, (Y/N)" she tilted her head in confusion until the man opened the door to his pharmacy

"Father, you're home!" a green haired boy happily yelled "Now, we have a new person living with us, treat her like a friend okay?" the boy nodded and looked at her "I'm Baizhu! And you're?" she hid behind the man out of shyness "Her name is (Y/N)" he gently pushed the girl in front of Baizhu, she just gave a little wave and looked away. Baizhu felt like she was strange but continued to talk to her the rest of the day.

Hi it's the author here :D I decided to start this book now because it's been in my drafts for almost a month now, I won't be able to update this week though because it's my exam week (terrible time to start a fanfic I know) so I tried to make this chapter at least good enough to not update for a week. I'll still be working on the next chapter during my exam week but I just won't post it because I need to make corrections and such and I don't have time for that I need to study >:0
