S1 EP4 - Fifteen

James was in his room with a headache after recovering from the pain last night. He heard his laptop beeping so he picked it up and accepted the video call. It was group call with everyone in it.

Nico: What are you doing?

Chase: Group WizTalk. I think your mom invented it.

Nico: And why are we doing it?

Alex: You haven't heard the news?

James: What news is this?

Karolina: You haven't heard yet?

Alex: My God, about the beach?

Nico: Yeah, that cleared nothing up.

James: Agreed, I'm still equally confused.

Karolina: They found her body. Destiny.

Nico: Gotta say I called it.

Karolina: Nico, what-

Gert: It doesn't make any sense.

Chase: Yeah, none of it does.

Gert: They found her body on the beach, not in that weird box which we found in Victor's garage empty.

Alex: Did you find anything in your parents' lab?

Gert: No, nothing at all.

Chase: Well, not nothing. Gert saw something. You want to say what?

Gert: Uh no.

Chase: My junk. She totally put on x-ray goggles and checked me out.

James: That was information that none of us needed to know.

Alex: Can we stay on topic?

Chase: Okay, Wilder, James told me he found something.

James: Hm, oh no it was just rubbish I mistook it for something important. What about you Alex, what did you find in the basement?

James lied as he didn't understand what he had found himself.

Alex: I couldn't get in. Dad wouldn't leave me alone.

Chase: Oh, what, like he knew you were suspicious?

Alex: No, like he loves me and actually wants to spend time with me.

Molly: So, did our parents do it or not?

Gert: Molly, that's what we're talking about.

Nico: Why are we even still debating this? I've been reading Amy's diary, okay, and I thought my mom hid it from me because of what was in it, but now I think it's because of what wasn't in it.

Everyone was confused by this.

Nico: Amy was happy. There's no way she did what she did. A girl dies on the same night after the same meeting that Amy died.

Gert: That's totally different. We're their blood.

Molly: Not all of us, technically.

Chase: Yeah, sorry, Nico, strangers are one thing...

Nico: Destiny wasn't a stranger to Karolina's mom.

Karolina: Which is why I don't believe that she would hurt her.

Alex: And my parents wouldn't hurt Amy.

Chase: Like your parents are better than ours? Your father was actually in prison for murder.

Alex: A long time ago and the charges were dropped.

Chase: The murder library's in your basement.

Gert: Can we please not call it a murder library?
