"Nani?" Kageyama whispered, eyes wide open.

Hinata rolled his eyes. Did that handsome dumbo of a husband not hear what he had just said.

"Babe, I said I think I'm pregnant" Hinata exclaimed, eyes glued to the floor, too scared to see Kageyama's expression.

Thud

Kageyama had fallen onto his hands and knees, startling Hinata.

"As in a baby" Kageyama said in a hushed voice, his whole face shocked, looking like a lost puppy.

The corners of Hinata's mouth twitched

He's cute when he's confused

"Yes, as in a baby" Hinata said as he walked over sat on his knees and cupped his hands on his husbands face.

"But listen, I can't be sure yet, I haven't taken a test yet but I'm going to grab one right now", "and I was wondering if you would like to come with me to buy one?"

"Ya...sure"

Hinata was starting to get annoyed at his short answers and shocked face.

Probably pregnancy hormones Hinata thought trying to stay pleasant.

Removing his hands and getting up off his knees Hinata left his shocked hubby without a word. Grabbing the car keys, Hinata walked out of the house towards the nearest pharmacy. Hinata knew that if he stayed there any longer he'd probably punch his lover, being hormonally unbalanced.

Kageyama was left alone, still in a state of shock but recovered slowly processing the abrupt news he had just received, Kageyama started thinking about all the things that would happen in the future if Hinata was indeed pregnant.

"Shit" Kageyama cursed lightly.

He specifically remembered using protection, so what in the world happened. Did the condom break and they didn't realize it or ??.

Hinata was even on birth control so the possibility of him getting pregnant should be a big fat 0%.

Ugh no point in stressing until he gets back, Kageyama thought Still.... having a baby might not be a bad idea.

Kageyama and Hinata were the only couple to not have settled down and start a family. But common sense hit Kageyama like a truck, Hinata was only 21.

What kind of person has a baby at 21, unless is was an accidental pregnancy.

Kageyama himself was only 24 and hadn't even thought about becoming a father because it wasn't on his and Hinata's to do list. Both Men had talked about children and neither of them ever felt the need to want one, they were content holding and playing with there friends children instead.

Oh man... how is hinata holding up, especially with the possibility that he could be carrying a tiny fetus.

Just as Kageyama was pouring himself a glass of Shochu, Hinata opened their front door.

"Babe I'm home"

"Back already?" Kageyama called

"What do you mean?" Hinata asked, "I've been gone for like 15 minutes"

Kageyama whipped his head towards there clock on the microwave.

Damn he's right Kageyama thought I've been in my own thoughts for over 20 minutes....

"Did you pick up a test" Kageyama asked.

Hinata walked into the kitchen and set down the small pharmacy bag.

"Yah" Hinata said pulling out a tiny box that said "Clear Blue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test"

They both stared at the box as if it was infected. This test determined there future and they didn't like that.

Kageyama suddenly took Hinata's tiny hand and kissed them gently "I'm sorry about before, leaving you on your own, I should've been the one to buy test not you"

Hinata stood on his tippy toes and pressed his lips to Kageyama.

"It's fine baby, don't stress about it"

Kageyama sighed and turned to the test on the table, "you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be" Hinata replied
