Edit * hi guys before you read chapter 7, please be well aware that I am no medical professional, I don't know how Ultrasounds work, I've only written down from what I've seen on T.V, so feel free to correct me 😂

Hinata sat in the waiting room with Kageyama, trying to not bite his nails as he often did when he was nervous. He stared at the the pictures of nurses that were hung up on the wall. They were all holding babies in a nursery.

Hinata smoothed his hand on his still flat tummy. His doctor called him a week after he called to make an appointment, saying they were able to find a time slot for Hinata to go and get a Ultrasound.

Of course Hinata was excited to hear the baby's heart beat, but in all seriousness he was a little scared. Hinata's worst fear was that something was wrong with the baby. Before coming to his appointment, Hinata did research about fetal illnesses and immediately regretted it.

Lost in his worries, Hinata jolted when he suddenly felt a hand in on his thigh. Hinata turned his head to see Kageyama looking at him with concerned eyes.

"Baby... are you doing alright"Kageyama asked, clearly worried.

Shit why do I always have to make him worry Hinata thought to himself I'm a terrible husband...

Putting on a brave smile, Hinata grabbed his lovers hand and gave it a tight squeeze.

"Of course I'm okay, I'm just excited to see the baby".

Kageyama didn't look convinced but seemed to let it slide.

Whew glad he bought that one Hinata thought.

Getting slightly irritated from the wait, Hinata picked out a newborn magazine and flipped through the pages.

All of sudden the door to the doctors office opened.

"Excuse me, Mr. Hinata Shoyo" called a friendly looking nurse.

"Yes t-that's me" Hinata stuttered out, jumping from the waiting chair and tugging Kageyama's hand.

The nurse guided the couple to a room, with a examination table and ultrasound equipment.

As Hinata sat in the chair beside the examination table, he took a good look at the nurses features.

He is quite handsome Hinata thought as a man I can acknowledge a good looking fellow

Hinata saw that the nurse had blonde hair with a part of it dyed black, golden eyes and a sincere smile.

"Hi there, I'm Kanji Koganegawa and I'll be taking care of you today" the nurse said with a big smile.

"Thank you" Hinata smiled back.

"So do you mind if I ask you some questions so we can get started !!".

"Sure" Hinata nodded

"Alrighty then" Nurse Koganegawa smiled "How long ago did you first find out you were pregnant" .

"Almost two weeks ago"

"Did you have any symptoms prior to taking the test?".

"Actually yes I did, around 4 weeks ago I started to get terrible nausea but I passed it off as the flu" Hinata admitted "when I started to get crazy mood swings and weird cravings, I knew then it wasn't the flu" .

"I see..I see" Nurse Koganegawa said softly, scribbling something on his clipboard.

"Did you end up taking a pregnancy test afterwards to check if you were pregnant or not".
