Bill Gates onced said "Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids to work together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important"
Being a teacher isn't an easy task. We all know that aside from managing the whole classroom, they also make lesson plans that occupy most of their time, they eat breakfast in the faculty and not in their house with their family.
Being a teacher is being an hero in the same time that's why this entry is for the teacher that I know and inspired me a lot, Ma'am Alona Dalis.
She was an extraordinary woman I know, she always there when her students are crumpled with paper works reminding them to stay positive and they can do it. She always give her time to her students, bond with them when she's free, take selfies with them, share her unforgetable stories with them and at the end of the day she let her students go to their home with a lesson learned.
The most unforgetable moment that I have with her when she give a christmas letter saying that reading is good and I should continued where I am good at. When the whole class was having a last bonding before the school year ends that was the best among the best outing ever, she dance with us, laughed with us, played with us, she even sing us a song. After that, she give us a tight hug.
Wait there's more that made her as an inspiration to me and to us her female students is that she's a HARDWORKING MOM to his only son. Yes, she is. She's a single mom that don't need another man in her life because as she says "my son by my side is enough".
It makes me think twice again, yes ma'am Lon was right. Being in a relationship is not that nice at all, your movement should in controlled, you can't go and bond with your male friends easly without asking his permission, you have responsibility on reporting where you are or where you hiding at. You and your bestfriends will somehow fight because you don't have time with them and lastly, you made a lie on your parents saying saying your not but truth is you're in relationship with someone you don't know if he/she is your endgame.
Ma'am thank you for making me understand that.
I may have a lot of teachers that came and go in my life since pre-school up to now but you is the one who make a big mark on my mind and heart. I may not in touch with you for a long time in any social media accounts but I still watched your videos and updates in facebook, you are always have a beautiful voice ma'am.
I don't know what course to take up in college but theirs always inside me saying that "take Education, be an educator and inspire students as what Teacher Alona did to you" . And yes, I will be a future teacher. I will not let you down.
